"It's the heat, it is really troublesome to suppress it when his mate closeby. Doing the needed activity will just save his body from the stress of going through the heat again and again". The healer said in frustration when they repeated the cycle about three times and the omega wasn't any different.
The Alpha stayed silent, guilt rippled through him but he now only watched them from a far. It was also a difficult moment for him to keep watching the omega in pain for hours.
"When the next heat comes, will you still do this?" The healer asked, a little disgruntled and angry.
"When that time comes, we will think of something else". He replied coldly but his voice softened when the omega groaned again.
The heat lasted for one more day and when it was finally over, the Alpha slept soundly than he ever did the last few days.
The omega woke up to the full day brightness in his eyes, he stretched and felt the Alpha beside him.
He paused and turned to stare at him before leaning in to kiss him gently on the lips.
He chuckled and climbed out of the bed and went out to the window to see the scenery outside. The warriors were beginning to make their way to the training grounds.
He watched for a while until the sun was hitting him on the face and he moved away from the window.
Everything that happened the last few days had completely vanished from his memory but he felt refreshed.
He showered and dressed up, he completed his attire with one of the Alpha's jackets. The sleeves were longer than him and they fell over his hands and struggled to fold them over. His ponytail was also redone.
After being satisfied with himself, he walked out of the room and almost walked into Wilson that was walking on the hallway.
"Huh?
Oh my Gosh, I almost got a heart attack. Where are you headed to?" He asked, surprised that he was walking alone. He still believed that the Omega wasn't capable of moving about alone but seeing the way his eyes stared up innocently at him made him swallow his question.
"Where is the Alpha?" Wilson asked and the Omega pointed at the closed door to their chamber.
"Oh, okay". He nodded and moved out of the way. He silently watched the Omega make his way to the stairs in surprise.
"He looks so much better". He muttered and continued to his destination. A strange thought bag at his gut but he ignored it and continued on his way.
That was the last time anyone would set eyes on the white-haired omega.
A couple of hours later, Alpha Draven woke up alone in the bed. He touched the space beside him and noticed it was cold which means it had been long vacated.
The air no longer held his scent which sent the Alpha into a state of panic.
He hurried off the bed and dashed into the bathroom even though he could not feel the omega near, he threw open the door to the adjoining room and also found it empty.
It was almost like he vanished into thin air.
Calming himself down that the Omega could be in the garden where he had suddenly grown attached to, he dressed up in a hurry and left the room in the same manner.
His men looked at him in worry as he walked out of the pack house in hurried steps, the garden was empty as well as other places the Omega could possibly be.
Alpha Draven let out a long shaky breath before running a hand through his hair.
The situation got more serious when the Omega still wasn't found hours later and the Alpha was having a hard time keeping his rage in place.
"You are telling me now that you are all useless to watch over him?
There are hundreds of you!" Alpha Draven bellowed at Vince, while Elias was nowhere in sight. He had gone with the men searching for the omega.
"I'm sorry Alpha, I saw him walk out of the room this morning but he looked like he had somewhere to be so I could not stop him." Wilson confessed making the tensed air of the Alpha's office get even heavier.
"You did what?" Alpha Draven said through gritted and breath in sharply.
He was distressed and at a breaking point, the omega had been in the pack for just two months which was not enough for him to know places or people that would make him go for hours.
"Have the men search each home in the whole pack, I want him back in the next two hours". Alpha Draven ordered and dismissed everyone.
Once alone, his heart became heavy with worry. He stood up and left the office to meet someone he had been avoiding for weeks.
"I never knew you would come to me so soon". The Seer said as Alpha Draven stepped into her home.
"He had gone missing, I want to know if he is fine-
"Nothing will happen to him. If he is in danger, you will feel it just like you feel his pains too." She replied.
"His pains, how did you know?"
"I just know, just like I know other things. Your bond isn't ordinary which makes you restless that he is gone. Nothing serious is going to happen to him, just keep looking". The seer replied but her words only added to fury because his gaze drew darker as if his wolf was ready to take over.
Storming out without another glance at her, he shifted to his wolf form and let out a loud howl before sprinting towards the forest, sand kicking up behind him.
Everyone close and far heard the powerful howl from the Alpha. It contained his distress and anger, Wilson quickly shifted and went after him along with a few other warriors.
They followed his scent and trail for about ten minutes until they all suddenly came to a halt as the horror before them made them pause.
