On the day of their departure, after everything had been put in place days prior nothing was delaying their department except the Alpha's order.
Alpha Draven decided at the last minute that Elias will stay behind to overlook the pack while Wilson, Vince and other warriors will accompany him.
Elias wanted to argue but decided against it because of how important his role was with the pack, with the Alpha away for a long time the pack could fall in potential danger if not properly managed, and there was no other worthy person to do the job except him.
Alpha Draven left his office after his last meeting with Elias and made his way to the training grounds to watch the men train. It would be the last time in a long time, things might and would have changed when next he will see them.
"Good morning Alpha, I never expected to see him here today but I couldn't chase him away either". Vince spoke with a nervous chuckle at the Alpha's appearance.
