The warehouse doors burst open.
"Security! Nobody move!"
The sharp voices echoed through the building as several guards rushed inside.
Camilla spun around in shock.
"What—"
Before she could react, two guards grabbed her arms.
Abi's eyes widened.
"This wasn't supposed to happen," she whispered.
Hazel stood frozen near the entrance, her heart still racing from the realization that everything had been a trap.
Then Luca stepped inside.
His presence filled the room.
His gaze moved from Hazel… to Abi… and finally to Camilla.
"You two really outdid yourselves tonight," he said coldly.
Camilla struggled against the guards.
"You think you've won?"
Luca didn't even look at her.
Valeria entered moments later, calm but furious.
"I warned you both," she said quietly.
Hazel turned toward her, confused.
"Warned them about what?"
Valeria sighed.
"This wasn't the first time Camilla tried to destroy you."
Hazel frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Camilla laughed bitterly.
"Oh please," she snapped. "If you're going to tell the story, tell the whole thing."
Hazel's chest tightened.
"Tell me what?"
Valeria hesitated for a moment.
Then she finally spoke.
"Years ago… Camilla set you up."
The words hung in the air.
Hazel felt her stomach drop.
"What?"
Camilla smirked.
"Yes," she said. "That night you've tried so hard to forget."
Hazel's breathing became uneven.
"That night wasn't random."
Luca's jaw tightened.
Valeria continued carefully.
"Camilla arranged it."
Hazel looked at Camilla in disbelief.
"Why?"
Camilla's eyes burned with resentment.
"Because Luca was already losing interest in me."
The room fell silent.
"I knew he noticed you," Camilla continued.
"So I made sure something happened that would ruin you."
Hazel felt the world spinning around her.
"You're lying…"
Camilla shrugged.
"I made sure the situation looked terrible. I knew you would be too scared to talk about it."
Hazel's eyes slowly moved toward Luca.
And suddenly it all made sense.
The strange feeling she had when she first saw him.
The familiarity.
The way he sometimes looked at her like he was trying to remember something.
"You…" she whispered.
Luca's expression softened with pain.
"That night… I didn't know it was you."
Hazel felt tears filling her eyes.
"You were there?"
Valeria nodded gently.
"You two met that night… but neither of you understood what really happened."
Hazel felt her legs weaken.
All these years…
All the confusion…
All the fear she carried alone.
It had been planned.
Camilla looked proud of herself.
"I didn't expect you two to meet again," she said.
"But when you did… I wasn't about to let you take him."
At that moment, another guard approached Luca with a phone.
"Sir, you need to see this."
Luca looked down at the screen.
News headlines were already spreading everywhere.
Abi Hart's name filled every page.
Messages, leaked recordings, and proof of her schemes were circulating online.
Her lies.
Her setup.
Her involvement tonight.
Everything.
Abi grabbed the phone desperately.
"No… no, this can't be happening."
Her voice shook.
"My career…"
Her fans were already turning against her.
Brands were cutting ties.
Within minutes, everything she had built in the modeling world was collapsing.
Abi looked at Hazel with panic.
"You have to help me," she said.
Hazel stared at her silently.
For the first time, there was no sadness in her eyes.
Only exhaustion.
"You betrayed me," Hazel said quietly.
Abi shook her head.
"I didn't mean for it to go this far—"
"Yes you did."
The words were calm… but final.
"I loved you," Hazel continued.
"You were my sister."
Abi's voice cracked.
"I still am!"
Hazel slowly shook her head.
"No."
A tear rolled down Abi's cheek.
Hazel took a deep breath.
"From today… I have no sister."
The words shattered the last thread between them.
Abi collapsed back into the chair, completely broken.
Hazel turned away.
She couldn't look at her anymore.
Behind her, Camilla was being dragged away by the guards, still shouting angrily.
But Hazel barely heard any of it.
Her mind was stuck on one realization.
She slowly looked at Luca.
"So… that's why you felt familiar."
Luca met her gaze.
"Yes."
For the first time since the nightmare of that night years ago…
Hazel finally knew the truth.
