With Storm I walk around the camp ranting
"Oh oh. That asshole can just disappear at a moments notice can he? How long has he been gone? Months now. That corny son of a bitch owes me."
Dread watches as I walk around the camp ranting eating some snacks i brought
"Which one are you pissed at today"
I wave my hand
"The mirror guy"
He nods
"Oh that guy, i did notice that he stopped coming around. What was up with that guy?"
I stop sighing
"He can take over people's souls. Not in a mind attack way, in a, go inside kill the original and replace them way"
He nods, stops then glares at me
"And you didn't think to tell me when I was sassing the guy?"
I shrug
"He wouldn't risk pissing me off. He has nobody else to banter with, and hes very much scared of war"
He throws his hands up
"Who isnt? Those who dont know, so among who knows what war is, who isn't"
I shrug
"Fair fair."
Over the last year I've moved all of the citadels under my control over to the cold wasteland by ravenheart. Only those who are my 'subjects' or are a master with a elemental resistance aspect or a saint can get to even the first one. The main body is more then a little paranoid, they even completely changed where the snow castle is and wont tell us. We each have roles to play, fun am I right? As the most social I get supplies. Meaning my citadel is the most well stocked how lucky. My role is overall pretty easy, better then beasts role. Ive long since recruited my Antarctica cohort, they stay with me at the first citadel.
With Beast I check and recheck the equipment
"Do you really need to do all that?"
I slowly turn to Blake who swiftly turns his head away.
"I'll shut up"
I nod
"Good. You didnt check right last time and one of the engines almost broke"
He shrugs
"Sorry boss"
I keep checking each of them. After I'm done I sigh heavily
"Well are you just going to sit there?"
He shrugs
"Maybe maybe. You could just get those fancy ascended of yours to do it."
Two hands grab his shoulders, healer
"Really? Get those Ascend? We are the damn warmth holders, get it right you little shit"
He slowly turns around
"Sorry boss?"
I snort
"Good luck"
I've been the one to head the army. Neph had just... given me the warmth holders, officially its because im heading a subjugation crusade into this death zone, and to the more well-informed its to take from the doom war battle ground. In reality its to combat the ash prince, we don't want too many knowing about him because, he's a great titan that alone could cause mass panic. Poor guy. I don't like thinking about his fate as a great titan because its... sad. He was a good person, a little self centered and too focused on himself and his families glory, of course but he wasn't even, just a privileged guy. Now hes that, I'm glad heart couldn't ever find out about this. In other news its going well, we are slowly chipping away at his army. The ash prince himself has stayed in the volcano, from what we can tell it seems the damage he took when death attacked him stuck, and at the moment he's unable to attack and is slowly healing. Its still going to take him awhile to be able to attack once again. By that time im pretty sure we will have a way to get changing star able to help us.
With Storm I summon the mirror
"Hey neph"
She looks back at the mirror and nods to the mirror a small smile forming on her face
"Oh hello. I haven't heard from you for a bit, I hope everything's been going well for you"
I nod waving my hand
"Yeah nothing bad has happened. There's only been a small mishap with some technical stuff but it got resolved pretty quickly"
The mirror floats over to her and she picks it up.
"Are you going to ravenheart soon?"
I nod
"Yup, I plan on looking around a bit, dont worry i told Kai about it"
She sighs
"Sunny plans on looking around a bit as well, maybe you two should look around together"
I frown a little indignant
"Oh come on neph I'm not that reckless, i don't need a babysitter"
She looks away a little embarrassed
"I mean last time you ran off on your own you ran into a great titan."
I stay silent staring into the mirror for a while.
"I mean your not wrong"
I sigh leaning back
"I am a little reckless I'll admit that but I'm not that bad, plus kai will be there"
Neph laughs
"Do you think he can stop you if you got really determined?"
I look away
"Yeah probably not"
With beast I lay on flame looking up into the stars. For five years I wasn't able to see them, now I can look up and see them every night. There's no dark sea, no monsters i can't beat. Every action is take matters. That's so odd isn't it? I'm so much different to how I was then... or is it my situation that's different? I guess i will have to one day become a sovereign, how i don't know how but I will have to. Even if its just to lessen the burden on neph.
