Chapter 10: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical High School
The late afternoon sun hung low over the mountainside, casting long golden shafts through the dense canopy of emerald trees. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves and carried the faint scent of pine and damp earth. Three figures trudged up the steep, winding road that cut through the quiet rural landscape—glass-smooth asphalt cracked here and there by stubborn roots pushing upward, surrounded by clusters of small wild plants and untamed greenery. Civilization felt miles away.
"This place is seriously far from central Tokyo," Sanjiro muttered, dragging his feet a few steps behind Gojo. His hands were stuffed lazily into his pockets, shoulders slouched like he'd rather be napping anywhere else. "Barely any houses or buildings nearby. Feels like we're hiking to the middle of nowhere."
Beside him, Hakari walked with his usual bored expression, eyes half-lidded as he stared at the unchanging road ahead. He looked like he might yawn at any second.
Gojo, leading the way with that effortless swagger, glanced back over his shoulder, blindfold hiding whatever playful glint was in his eyes. "That's because Jujutsu Tech is wrapped in a dense layer of cursed energy. Most curses naturally steer clear of the place. Plus, Tengen's barriers keep everything locked down nice and safe. And let's be real—we can't exactly set up shop right next to civilians with all the crazy stuff that goes down here, can we?"
He kept walking, voice light and casual as if he were talking about the weather. "Besides, the school was built centuries ago by ancient sorcerers who wanted a true safe haven. A place where young jujutsu sorcerers could train, grow strong, and actually survive this messed-up world."
The road eventually gave way to a wide stone stairway carved into the hillside. Massive stone lanterns and weathered monuments lined both sides, their surfaces etched with faint, ancient inscriptions that seemed to hum faintly in the quiet air. The sound of their footsteps echoed softly against the steps—clack… clack… clack—mixing with the distant chirp of birds and the whisper of wind through the trees.
"On top of being a school," Gojo continued without missing a beat, "it's also where sorcerers pick up missions and get orders from the higher-ups. Basically a fancy bounty station for cursed spirits. You need a gig? You come here."
Hakari finally broke his long silence, voice flat. "How many students are there, anyway?"
Gojo's head tilted slightly, his face turning just enough to glance at Hakari. "Only seven in total, including you two. Three second-years and two other first-years besides you."
"What about the third-years?" Sanjiro asked, kicking a small pebble off the path. It skittered down the stairs with a series of sharp clicks.
Gojo let out a low, almost tired chuckle. "Jujutsu sorcerers have a pretty low survival rate, y'know? The job's dangerous as hell. Low numbers mean we're constantly sending people on missions way above their pay grade—life-threatening stuff that most don't come back from. That's why barely anyone makes it to third year, let alone graduates as a full-fledged sorcerer. The ones who do usually end up as Grade 1… or Special Grade if they're monsters like me."
A comfortable silence settled for a moment as they crested the final steps.
"Oh, we're here," Gojo announced brightly.
They stood before a grand traditional gate, its dark wood imposing yet elegant. Bold characters were carved across the top beam:
[Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School]
Gojo pushed the gate open with one hand, then turned back to them with a wide, dazzling smile that somehow managed to be both welcoming and mischievous.
"Welcome to Jujutsu Tech."
Sanjiro and Hakari exchanged a quick glance—Sanjiro's expression still lazily unimpressed, Hakari's eyebrows raised just a fraction. Then, without a word, they stepped through.
What greeted them was breathtaking in its serene beauty. Tall, old wooden Japanese-style buildings stretched across the campus grounds, their dark beams and tiled roofs blending perfectly with the surrounding sea of lush trees and vibrant greenery. Sunlight filtered through the leaves in soft, dappled patterns, and the air felt cleaner, quieter, almost sacred.
"Wow…" Hakari breathed, eyes widening as he took it all in, momentarily forgetting his boredom.
Sanjiro, however, barely reacted. He'd grown up inside the sprawling Gojo clan compound—endless traditional structures, courtyards, and training halls just like these. To him, it was just another fancy old estate. Nothing new.
"Hakari, you're coming with me to meet the principal," Gojo said, already turning toward a distant temple-like building. "Sanjiro, you can look around the place or wait here. Your choice."
Sanjiro raised an eyebrow. "Why does he need to meet the principal?"
Gojo pointed a lazy thumb at Hakari, who immediately looked away, scratching the back of his neck. "Because unlike you, he isn't an official student yet. Gotta pass Principal Yaga's little interview first."
With that, the two of them headed off toward the temple house, Gojo's long coat fluttering behind him like a cape. Sanjiro watched them disappear around a corner, then shrugged to himself.
"Whatever…"
He stuffed his hands deeper into his pockets and started wandering in a random direction, footsteps crunching softly over the gravel path. The campus felt peaceful—almost too peaceful. Birds sang overhead, leaves rustled, and a distant breeze carried the faint smell of blooming flowers.
Suddenly, a series of grunting sounds and heavy impacts broke the tranquility.
"Huh? What's that noise?"
Sanjiro tilted his head, curiosity finally poking through his lazy demeanor. He changed course, following the sounds until he reached an open training ground that looked like a oversized school playground—wide dirt field bordered by wooden fences and shaded by ancient trees.
In the center of the grounds, a fierce sparring match was underway.
A young boy with messy, spiky black hair that stuck out in every direction was moving with surprising intensity. He wore a simple blue tracksuit, sweat already glistening on his forehead. Flanking him were two Divine Dogs—one pitch-black, the other pure white—lunging and snapping with feral grace. Their target? A massive panda that was somehow holding its own, blocking strikes with powerful, fluffy arms and countering with surprising agility.
CLACK!
The black wolf's jaws snapped shut just inches from the panda's side as the white one darted in low for a leg sweep. The panda spun, batting them away with a heavy THUD that sent dust flying.
Sanjiro stepped closer, hands still in his pockets, watching with mild interest.
Both the boy and the panda noticed him at the same time. The sparring instantly halted. The wolves froze mid-pounce, then dissolved into swirling shadows that retreated back to the boy's side. The panda straightened up, brushing dirt off its fur.
"Who are you?" the spiky-haired boy—Megumi—asked, voice calm but guarded, sharp eyes narrowing slightly.
Sanjiro gave a small, lazy wave. "I'm Gojo Sanjiro. New first-year student here. And you ar—"
He was cut off as the panda suddenly stepped forward, raising one paw in a cheerful gesture.
"He's Megumi Fushiguro, and I'm Panda! We—"
The panda paused, glancing sideways at Megumi, who gave a tiny, almost imperceptible nod. Then Panda finished with a bright, toothy grin:
"We live here."
Sanjiro blinked once, then fell quiet, staring at the unusual trio.
'So… those are the younger versions of Megumi and Panda, huh?'
A faint, amused smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as the afternoon breeze swept across the training ground, carrying the distant echo of their interrupted fight.
The real Jujutsu Tech experience had just begun.

(A/N): Guys I'm sorry that i made so many mistakes in previous chapters. I'm trying to fix my wrongs. Should i rewrite the previous chapters, fixing some minor mistakes. Also, i was trying to understand hikaris cursed technique. which by the way very complicating and confusing. The only thing that i get it that its based on a gambling romance game and he can summon stuff from there. Also, most of it is from his domain expansion. I do understand kiraras cursed technique as it was shown in the anime. But, hikaris is still confusing.
