Not only did Rin's fist contain monstrous strength equal to his own, but a tyrannical current of lightning surged through his arm and invaded his body.

The muscles in Rin's right arm tightened.
A burst of explosive force erupted at point-blank range.
Sukuna grunted.
The force sent him sliding backward several metres.
The flesh on his right arm emitted the smell of burnt meat as the lightning scorched it black.
"That's all the strength you've got?"
Rin pulled the Kusanagi Sword from the ground and began walking toward him.
One step at a time.
"You were just saying you'd pull out my bones. You can't even break through my defence."
"So how exactly are you planning to do that? With your mouth?"
Sukuna steadied himself.
His Reverse Cursed Technique rapidly restored the charred damage to his arm.
Staring at the approaching Rin, the killing intent in his eyes became almost tangible.
"Don't get too full of yourself, human."
Sukuna brought his hands together before his chest, forming an ancient and sinister hand seal.
"Domain Expansion."
"Malevolent Shrine."
BOOM!
A grotesque shrine surrounded by bones and death rose from the ruins without warning.
With the shrine at its centre, everything within a two-hundred-metre radius fell under Sukuna's absolute control.
Unlike ordinary Domains, Malevolent Shrine possessed no closed barrier.
This open-barrier Domain granted Sukuna a vastly greater attack range and even more extreme destructive power.
"Within this range, all living things with cursed energy will be subjected to Cleave."
"And all inanimate objects without cursed energy will be subjected to Dismantle."

A colossal purple deity more than a hundred metres tall rose within the Domain of Malevolent Shrine.
Perfect Susanoo.
Its enormous body pierced straight through the clouds.
The moment its wings unfurled, the resulting hurricane scattered Sukuna's slashes across the battlefield.
Inside the crystal at the forehead of the Susanoo, Rin stood with his hands clasped behind his back.
He looked down at the bone shrine that now resembled nothing more than a toy beneath the giant's feet.
Then he looked at Sukuna, standing before the shrine with shock written all over his face.
"Now..."
Rin's voice resonated through the Perfect Susanoo.
It rolled across the battlefield like the decree of a god descending from the heavens.
"Look up at me."
