Having said goodbye to Ray, Miku didn't go home but rented a room in a mid-range hotel — she had a lot to think about.
After spending several hours mulling over heavy thoughts, Miku finally made a decision and made a few calls.
"Eugene, hey. I need you to dig up info on someone. All I know is the first and last name: Ray Johnson. I'm about to drastically change my life, so I can't pay you right now. Please, do it on credit."
"The guy you're asking about requires almost no effort at all," Eugene replied. "This guy's real surname is Ray Evans. He headed one of the departments at the company 'Future Technologies.' Besides that, he was on the list of the most promising students at the film school in Los Angeles and even managed to take part in the filming of two movies. I'll send you a link — read it yourself."
"You seem to know a lot about this man," Miku said with interest.
"This guy's story, though tragic, is capable of inspiring many. I wasn't just inspired — I'm actually the one who created this site."
Miku had planned to read only the basic information but ended up getting engrossed and reading everything that was on the site.
When she finished, she felt ashamed for complaining about her petty problems in front of such a man. It only strengthened her resolve to change her life — despite the difficulties.
