Logan sat on the school bench, silently cursing himself.
"Gosh, Logan… you messed up," he muttered under his breath.
"What would those girls think of me now?"
"That you're a weakling."Larisa's amused voice startled him as she sat beside him.
She crossed her long, smooth legs confidently, wearing a sexy crop top and a leather short skirt.
His gaze instantly dropped to her exposed thighs, making him swallow hard.
"What are you looking at?" Larisa asked.
"Filling my eyes," Logan grinned, his stare refusing to leave her legs.
Larisa subtly adjusted her posture, revealing even more skin.
He felt heat rush through him. What is this girl doing to me? Just looking at her was already messing with his self-control.
"I will pluck those eyes out and step on them," She threatened.
He only smirked. To her surprise, he placed his hand on her thigh.
Larisa's eyes widened."How bold! Get your filthy hands off me," she warned.
But he didn't move.Instead, his fingers slowly traced upward toward her inner thigh.
Larisa froze. She should have pushed him away… but his touch sent unfamiliar sensations through her body.
"I know you're enjoying this," Logan whispered, leaning closer.
"Do you want me to go further?"
Larisa gulped, her cheeks flushing."You're a weakling, Logan. You can't handle me," she finally said, though her voice sounded softer than intended.
How could this annoying pervert affect her so easily?
"You haven't even tried me yet," Logan murmured near her ear. "And you're already judging."
His fingers brushed dangerously higher.
Larisa grabbed his wrist.
"Easy, tiger."Logan paused and slowly withdrew.
Biting her lip, Larisa pulled out a small piece of paper and scribbled something on it.
"Find me there by 10 p.m. tonight," she said, standing up. "Let's see what you've got."She walked away without looking back.
Logan watched until she disappeared from sight.
"Damn…"
He looked at the paper and grinned at the address written on it.
Excitement surged through him."Relax," he muttered to himself, crossing his legs."We've got the whole night."
Cora walked toward the school coffee vendor. It was a hot afternoon, yet she suddenly craved coffee — her kind of coffee.
"Chilled Americano with extra cream,please."
The vendor prepared it immediately.
She smiled as she collected the drink.
"How much?"
"Fifty dollars."
Cora paid and turned around, only to see Dacio walking straight toward her.
She paused, sipping her drink.A soft satisfied sound escaped her lips and Dacio noticed.
As they approached each other, both tried to pass,Left. But the same direction.
Right,same direction again.
She sighed loudly.
"Watch where you're going, Miss Not Compatible," Dacio said irritably.
Cora glared at him."I am watching where I'm going, Mr. Four Eyes."
Dacio stopped, amused."Four eyes?"
He stepped aside —but again they moved the same way.
"Ugh! Dacio!" Cora groaned.
"Oh? Not 'four eyes' anymore?" he teased.
"Just wait. I'll pass first."
"Oh, so I should wait for you?"
Without warning, Cora shoved him aside."Move, Four Eyes!"She stormed off angrily.
"What the hell… that girl," Dacio muttered, watching her leave.
"She followed my path. Not compatible,my foot… she's obviously into me."He walked to the vendor.
"Hot coffee. No sugar."
Apparently, Miss Not Compatible had already ruined his mood.
Cassius stopped walking when he saw Luna standing directly in his path.
"Hi, Cassius," she said, approaching him with a sly smile.
"What do you want, Luna Armstrong?" he asked.
"What do I want?" She bit her lip thoughtfully."I want you."
Cassius blinked in surprise."I beg your pardon?"
Luna laughed softly."Who would've thought we'd end up in the same class?"
"Are you here to threaten me again?" he asked cautiously.
She shook her head."Today feels lucky. My knight in shining armor saved a princess in distress."
Cassius smiled awkwardly."I answered the question because the professor asked me…Not because of you."
"Oh… okay."She nodded, still smiling.
"Being friends with you would be nice. Nice to meet you properly, Cassius Isaac."She extended her hand.
Cassius hesitated before shaking it.The moment their hands touched, Luna felt something shift inside her…something she thought had died years ago.
Her heartbeat stumbled. She quickly withdrew her hand, regaining composure."See you tomorrow, Cassius."
She lightly brushed his chest before walking away.
He watched her leave, confused.
Hidden nearby, Nova observed everything.
Her eyes burned with jealousy.
"So you're the next Mary…" she muttered coldly.
"No matter how fearless you are, Luna…
I'll remove you just like I removed Mary Elizabeth."
Her fingers tightened around her dress.
"Cassius is mine. Mine alone."
