Chapter 11 - Late Afternoon Notifications

Nearly an hour had passed since Sophia washed the last dish. She stood wiping her hands on the kitchen towel hanging from its hook. The sun had begun to tilt toward sunset, casting a soft orange light through the windows that made the kitchen feel warmer and less real. She still felt some lingering tension from the moment with Yasser, but she tried to push the thought away by focusing on routine tasks: wiping the counter, organizing the bottles—anything to keep her hands busy.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of a key turning in the front door, followed by light yet heavy footsteps—her mother's steps, always carrying the scent of the workday: a mix of her heavy perfume and the sweat of a long day. Her mother entered the house, still wearing her office outfit: a relatively tight white blouse with the top two buttons undone, revealing the line of her full cleavage, and a gray skirt that reached mid-thigh, hugging her large rounded backside in a way that made every step look deliberate and unintentionally seductive. Her light pink hair was tied in a loose bun, a few strands falling against her long neck, and her cheeks were slightly flushed from fatigue.

"Sophia, my heart!" her mother called in that soft voice that always carried a hint of tiredness. She tossed her bag onto the living room couch, then walked into the kitchen and opened her arms for a quick hug. "I missed you today."

"I missed you more, Mama," Sophia replied, hugging her back and breathing in her mother's familiar scent, which eased some of the inner tension. Her mother's heavy breasts pressed against hers for a second before they pulled apart.

"Did Yasser eat?" her mother asked, glancing around the clean kitchen.

"Yeah, I made him an egg and cheese sandwich. He ate everything and went upstairs to rest," Sophia answered with a smile, trying to sound completely normal.

"Good girl. You're always thinking about him," her mother said, smiling as she reached out to brush a strand of white hair from Sophia's face. "I'm going to change and rest a bit. Today was long."

"Go ahead, Mama. I'm here if you need anything."

Her mother climbed the stairs with slightly heavy steps, her backside swaying under the tight skirt with every step, until Sophia heard the soft click of her bedroom door closing.

Sophia stood in the kitchen for a moment, staring at the staircase, then decided to head back to her room. She went up slowly, entered her room, and locked the door behind her. The room was still warm from the afternoon, the scent of earlier excitement faded but not entirely gone. She lay on her back on the bed, the silk robe parting slightly to reveal her black lingerie, her chest rising and falling with calm breaths.

Suddenly, a series of notification sounds came from the phone lying beside her. Ring… ring… ring… The phone vibrated with activity. She reached for it quickly, unlocked the screen, and opened the MyFans app directly.

The numbers were stunning: 30 new subscriptions since morning. Some from the first short video, others from the long video she had posted a few hours earlier. Total in the account: $150.

"Oh my god…" Sophia whispered, her eyes widening as she calculated it again. 30 × 5 = 150. That figure was bigger than any small dream she had imagined. She sat up on the bed, the robe slipping slightly off her shoulder, but she didn't notice. Her heart pounded hard—a mix of joy, shock, and an excitement she hadn't expected to hit so fast.

She quickly opened the comments:

"Your body is fire 🔥🔥"

"The way you scream made me lose control"

"More of that please… I'd pay anything"

"That ass deserves a monthly subscription"

Her face flushed red, but a wide smile spread across her lips. She scrolled with her finger, reading each comment once, then twice. A shiver ran down her spine—a mixture of pride and a powerful feeling. "One hundred and fifty dollars… that means the electricity bill, some groceries for the house… and maybe I can take Mama out for dinner."

She lay back down, the phone resting on her chest, staring at the ceiling. She heard light footsteps from her mother's room—perhaps she had changed and was about to come down for tea or something. But Sophia didn't move. She stayed there, reflecting on everything that had happened and what might come next.

Today… had turned from an ordinary university day into something much bigger. And with every new notification that rang, she felt herself stepping into a new world, one step at a time, and she wouldn't be able to go back even if she wanted to.
