Aire did not stop kissing him. Her grip on Nate tightening as though she was anchoring herself to him.
She pulled him closer, so close that every breath, and every heartbeat of his pressed against her.
There was no room for thought, only the fire that spread through her veins.
His tongue teased and tasted her, demanding and possessive. That coaxed an unintentional growl from his throat.
Their tongues tangled heatedly, an intoxicating battle of dominance and surrender. Aire melted into him, her mind completely overwhelmed.
When he pulled back, her lips tingled, and her chest heaved as she struggled to catch her breath.
"I'm sorry," Nate apologised, his breath ghosting over her swollen lips.
"No," Aire shook her head, pulling him closer from his neck. "I'm fine with this."
Nate blinked at her. The fire grew in him again. "I should be gentle, but…."
