Eres looked at the flyers that was promoting the hunter academy. She sat on the city ground. The bench were half a kilometer away, but no one of that mattered, what mattered was that she has to walk unitil she did go to the academy.
The academy it must be something quite equivalent to a university. Row of chair a lot of people going in and out with books. And smart people raising their hands at a professor question.
"Hi." A woman stopped to look at Eres.
"Hi." Eres said back and they said nothing else afterward. "So what is it?" Eres asked wanting to keep the conversation going.
"I was wondering if you were heading to the academy as well." The woman with short hair with an upfront bang said. And Eres stared at her. "So you are a newly awakened as well." Eres stood up. "I see."
"Do you know where the academy is?" She said as she adjusted her backpack. "The academy? There a lot of poster that talk about the cademy around the city." Eres said and the woman nodded.
"Ah, my name isSilva Hatch" Silva Hatch extended a hand.
"My name is Eres Glove." Eres said as she shook her hand. "I was thinking of going to the awakening tower for more information." Eres started to walk ahead, while Sulva started to search for things on her phone. "There truly are not available on the phones." Silva looked at Eres confused, while Eres had already expected as much.
"Hunters are always separated from normal citizen here, once awakened hunter can no longer attend university nor could they have any job offer accepted: It's either you be a hunter or you are killed." Eres said, and Silva felt the inevtability in Eres tone.
Silva continued to follow behind. "So being a hunter is not as sweet and cool as it look." Silva concluded adjusting her glasses. "I don't really know. But what I know for sure is that hunters are paid quite a lot of money, althought I do not quite understand why there is a difference of status between hunter and normal citizens." Eres said.
"And even these phone are a proof of it. Being a hunter is not a privilege, but a duty." Eres nodded.
'Did she go to a general school' Silva Hatch thought to herself.
"Were you homeschooled?" Eres asked.
Silva flinched at that question then scratched her neck akwardly. "Yes, I am.Was that too oblivious?" Silva said while Eres just kept walking.
"That was just a guess, you seem to not have met a lot of person before. For example, I know so much about awakener and hunter because I have built in skills that heps in taking information from my other classmate." Eres explained and Silva nodded.
"You mean I am not trying to take information from you." Silva asked.
"You are but you seem to be under the assumption that we are equally confused." Eres highlighted. And Silva looked at her.
"You know a lot of stuff it seem like." Silva said wondering. "So when did you get appraised as a hunter."
"Yesterday." Eres said. Silva smiled, "Oh me too, it's a shame that we didn't met one that day." She says as she walked side to side with her then they stopped again at the entrance of the awakening tower.
Silva greated the guards and they didn't reply back, Eres just nodded no reponse from their part. Eres was hesitant to take another step after what had happened yesterday, she was used to guards behaving in a rude way toward her, but that didn't make the experience any less comfortable.
"What are you waiting for Eres?" Silva asked genuinely confused. "Hmm, yes?" They got in as the same lady who was behind her desk was still present Silva walked to her and talkd about her inquiry concerning the academy.
"Oh, the academy?" The woman with the white bloose and tied up hair asked professionnally. She looked at the computer and started to type some numbers. "You are indeed among the lists of the awakened." She confiirmed. She printed two sheet of paper. "It's in the third floor prepare for your surirgical operation." Silva took a paper and handed the other one to Eres.
A surirgical Operation?
The woman slumped back again in her desk, this time only her hair being visible. "A surirgical operation?" Silva wishpered, while Eres was still reading the handed out paper. "They said it is necessary for the awakened to be able to access the academy."
"An identification card type?" Silva pushed the number three of the elevator as they waited and the vertigo feelling took effect. "If so then, why would they use the word access."
Eres eyebrow furrowed as well. Silva took a bottle of water from her bag and sipped on it.
SZZZL
The door of the elevator opened and Silva and Eres noticed that there were other people sitting on chairs some of different origin, there was another man with rich brown skin, and black hair and black eyes, he was standing his arms crossed.
"Hello." Silva waved at them, and a man with stange white hair laced with blue waved back. Eres walked to a chair and just sat down. Another woman sat opposed to her with silky black hair, rich brown skin and black eyes.
'Were they siblings?' Eres noticed that there was ten people in here including herself. Eres leaned on the chair and sighed. "Has anyone come out of that surirgical room yet."
"No." The man with white hair laced with blue said, he has blue inks eyes as well. Eres looked at him for a while then focused back on the door.
"Enary Mirkail." The door opened and a woman in nurse uniform called and the woman with the rich brown skin got up, her eyes moving to look at the other man with rich brown skin before she sliped in within the door.
Eres could see the sweat accumulating on her forhead. 'Did a medical setting make her feel nervous?'
"Avary Mirkail." The man with rich brown got up and got in.
