Chapter 128 - 128

Chapter 128 Straw Hat Admiral Angrily Beats Up Celestial Dragons"Hi!"

The government official bowed deeply, his face beaming with joy: "Thank you for your generous gift, sir!"

The nurse, upon hearing this, looked terrified, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Wait a minute! I...I have a fiancé!"

Before she could finish speaking, a man wearing an apron rushed out from the side street.

"Wait a minute! That's my fiancée..."

Bang!!

A crisp gunshot rang out.

Before the man could finish speaking, a bloody hole appeared between his eyebrows, and he fell straight to the ground in a pool of blood.

A suppressed gasp rippled through the surrounding crowd.

Charles Saint held a smoking pistol in his hand, angrily blowing on the muzzle.

"Damn it, another one of those rude guys standing in front of me!"

The nurse's eyes widened instantly, her pupils dilating.

She struggled to her feet, trying to rush forward, but the official held her back.

"Ahhh!"

The nurse let out a heart-wrenching scream.

To kill someone in the street in broad daylight!

What kind of nobleman is this?! He's a demon!

Someone save him! Please, please save him…!!

The kneeling crowd turned their heads away in shame, unable to bear the horrific scene before them.

In the distance, the strange monk Ulki shook his head: "Even more outrageous than the rumors say."

"What?!"

Saint Charlos shoved his fat face close to the nurse's, spitting everywhere.

"What's that look you're giving me? Are you complaining that I did something wrong?!"

Then he raised his pistol again and fired several more shots at the fallen man's corpse!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The man's body convulsed with the sound of the gunshot, then fell completely silent.

The young nurse clutched her mouth tightly, her body trembling like a leaf.

Large tears streamed down her cheeks uncontrollably, her eyes filled with despair and terror, as if she saw the gates of hell opening before her.

Charlos Saint grinned wildly, his muscular face trembling, pointing at the nurse and issuing an undeniable order.

"Drag this woman to the port, I'm taking her!"

"Yes, sir!"

The CP5 officers in black suits didn't hesitate at all, waving their hands to signal their men to lift the woman up like cargo.

In that instant, the atmosphere froze.

Whether it was the onlookers or the Supernovas present, their pupils contracted to pinpoints.

Everyone stared in disbelief at the back of that Heavenly Dragon, as if they had seen a ghost!

"Who's got the guts to block my way? Get out of my way!"

A muffled, deafening explosion suddenly erupted!

Charlos Saint was sent flying like a ball, the glass fishbowl symbolizing privilege on his head shattering into dust.

Everyone present stared wide-eyed, their eyes practically popping out of their sockets, fixed on the figure who dared to attack a "god."

"The...the Marines?!"

Luffy stood there, draped in his cloak of justice, his right hand still raised in mid-air, in a gesture as if swatting a fly.

Behind him, Zoro and the others stood equally imposing, their capes fluttering, followed by a dense, heavily armed swarm of elite Marines.

Nami, Vivi, Usopp, and the others stared at their captain, their mouths agape in horror.

"Holy crap! Dude, you fought a Celestial Dragon!"

Zoro, on the other hand, remained calm, his eyes scanning the island like a hawk's, seemingly searching for any remaining survivors.

His once-white cloak was now stained crimson with blood, clearly indicating his arduous journey hadn't been easy.

Luffy, only now seeming to snap out of his daze, wore an exaggerated expression of shock.

He strode over to Charlos, whose face was badly dented, and began to belt out a dramatic scene.

"Holy crap! Which bastard dared to beat a noble World Noble into this state?!"

"This is a descendant of the Creator! This is utterly lawless! It's outrageous!"

"Guards! What are you all standing there for! Arrest all the pirates and criminal gangs on this island!"

Luffy roared, pointing righteously at the trembling pirates in the crowd.

Then, he turned to the terrified nurse and the wounded man lying on the ground, his voice filled with anguish.

"Didn't you see the innocent civilians injured? Where's the medic? Get them to the hospital!"

"This isn't over yet! I must bring that thug who beat up a Celestial Dragon to justice!"

"Hey, Chopper, stop standing there! Help! That nurse is crying so hard it's heartbreaking; her fiancé is about to die."

Luffy pointed to the man shot by the Celestial Dragon.

Chopper, as if snapping out of a daze, stomped his feet on the ground with a clattering sound and rushed towards the wounded to provide first aid.

At this moment, the CP5 officer finally recovered from his shock.

He pointed at Luffy, veins bulging on his face, and roared hysterically.

"Hey! You bastard! Do you know what you just did?"

"Assaulting a Celestial Dragon is a capital offense! A capital offense! An Admiral will be here soon to tear you to pieces!"

"Hmm?"

Luffy glanced sideways at the CP5 officer, his eyes filled with the coldness of someone looking at a dead man.

He slowly drew a simple, ancient-looking longsword from his waist, the tip pointing directly at the officer.

"Sit upon the Frosty Heaven! Hyōrinmaru!"

Suddenly, a long iron chain extended from the end of the seemingly ordinary longsword, the tip of which was a crescent-shaped blade.

The iron chains, like serpents emerging from their holes, slowly and tightly bound the black-clad official.

"What?!?"

The CP5 official's face turned deathly pale, feeling a bone-chilling cold.

"What do you want! I'm an official of the World Government…"

Before he could finish speaking, the surrounding temperature plummeted to freezing.

The moisture in the air began to condense rapidly at a visible speed, and a white, frigid aura spread.

Under everyone's horrified gaze, a crystal-clear, humanoid ice sculpture appeared out of thin air before them.

Luffy, expressionless, casually tugged on the chain in his hand.

With a crisp crack!

The black-clad official, along with the ice block, shattered instantly into countless ice shards.

Luffy glanced indifferently at the remaining guards, their legs trembling with fear.

"Oh dear, this is terrible! Even the official responsible for protecting the World Nobles has been murdered by thugs! What are you bunch of trash waiting for?!"

Luffy's voice instantly turned cold, carrying an undeniable authority.

"Hurry up and arrest those lawless thugs!"

The Marine soldiers behind him shuddered in unison, intimidated by this imposing aura, and immediately stood at attention and saluted.

"Yes, sir!!"

A deafening roar echoed through the sky.

The faces of the Supernovas in the crowd turned extremely grim.

Urouge, however, was an exception. He looked at Luffy with an extremely excited smile.

"Just as I thought, this guy is even crazier and more lawless than the rumors say!"

Urouge's warlike blood was completely ignited. He shouldered a huge iron pillar and charged towards Luffy.

However, a green figure instantly blocked Luffy's path.

With a sharp "clang," sparks flew!

Zoro had firmly blocked Urouge's heavy iron pillar.

"How could we let someone like you attack our admiral so easily?"

Zoro's lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile.

As the Straw Hat crew's emotional intelligence expert, Zoro understood perfectly well.

Only Luffy, with his powerful background, could handle such a high-profile incident as beating a Celestial Dragon.

Anyone else would be courting death, but when it came to dealing with pirates, there were no reservations; they could go all out.

Urouge's action completely jolted the kneeling pirates and onlookers awake.

They realized the gravity of the situation.

A Celestial Dragon had really been attacked!

A Marine admiral was about to arrive!

Not everyone was a battle maniac like Urouge; even the arrogant Kid was now frantically retreating into the crowd.

"A madman! He's a complete madman!"

Jewelry Bonney, the gluttonous woman, mumbled curses as she stuffed pizza into her mouth, leading her henchmen in a desperate escape.

Red Flag Drake's face was ashen, and he ran as fast as he could.

He was miserable. Was being an undercover agent easy?

To prevent any mishaps, he had specifically gone to stop Apoo and Kid from fighting.

He was afraid of causing any major chaos in the Sabaody Archipelago that would affect his infiltration plan.

But what he got was Luffy, this unpredictable madman, who immediately slapped a Celestial Dragon across the face!

Drake was completely stunned. This wasn't a riot; this was tearing the sky apart! An Admiral was about to arrive!

He was internally screaming with frustration, wanting nothing more than to escape this dangerous place and get as far away from Luffy, this plague, as possible.

Luffy gave the fleeing Supernovas a cold glance.

Except for Urouge, that idiot, everyone else basically took off running without looking back.

However, Luffy's main target this time wasn't these pirates, but rather the scourges of this lawless zone—kidnapping rings, the black market, and human auction houses.

After all, Drake's undercover work wasn't easy. If he wiped out all these Supernovas, leaving only Drake alive and kicking into the New World, even a fool would suspect something was amiss.

However, there's one Supernova that Luffy absolutely has no intention of letting slip today.

That's Eustass Kid, ranked number one on the bounty list!

Unlike other Supernovas, this guy's high bounty is entirely built on the blood of innocent civilians.

You see, when the Navy sets bounties, they primarily look at the degree of threat posed to the World Government.

While it's cruel, killing civilians doesn't prove your strength in the Navy's eyes.

But Kid has managed to rack up a bounty higher than Luffy's after his rampage at Enies Lobby by indiscriminately killing innocent people, which is enough to show that the number of civilians he's killed has reached an appalling level.
