Chapter 131 - 131

Chapter 131 Luffy Beats Up Celestial Dragon Capule"No, I'll handle this. No one is allowed to tell, not even Sengoku."

Garp's expression turned serious, and he issued a gag order, "Tell your bunch of bastards to keep their mouths shut."

"But, what if it really is him..."

"It's definitely him."

Garp waved his hand dismissively, "That old geezer does this kind of thing occasionally. Probably gambled away all his money and sold himself for alcohol. We don't have the energy to provoke a reclusive legend right now. You don't want the Navy fighting two legendary figures at the same time, do you?"

Garp took a sip of tea, his eyes sharpening.

He knew perfectly well who Rayleigh had acted for recently—it was all for his precious grandson, Ace!

Just as Garp was figuring out how to gloss over the matter,

the office door was violently pushed open with a bang.

"Garp!!"

Thud!!

Garp jumped in fright, spitting out the hot tea he'd just drunk all over the unfortunate colonel's face.

"What are you doing, Sengoku! You scared the hell out of me!"

Garp wiped his mouth, looking at Sengoku who stormed in with a look of disgust.

"You bastard Garp! Do you know your precious grandson has caused another disaster?!"

Sengoku rushed up to Garp in a frenzy, spitting everywhere.

"Huh?"

Garp paused, "Grandson? Ace?"

Garp, his mind filled with Rayleigh, blurted out instinctively.

Sengoku was completely confused: "???"

"Ahem, could it be Luffy?"

Garp quickly tried to smooth things over, "What trouble could he possibly cause, as long as he didn't beat up those trash..."

Seeing Sengoku's face, which was so dark it was almost dripping with anger, Garp's voice stopped abruptly, his eyes widening in disbelief.

"He... he really beat up those trash?"

"More than just beat up those trash... cough cough... Celestial Dragons!"

Sengoku was so angry his beard trembled. "Your grandson, under the guise of saving a friend, led a massive army and completely wiped out the lawless territory!"

Garp was stunned for a moment; this was clearly a good thing. Then he clutched his stomach and burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! As expected of my grandson! Well done!"

"Garp!"

Sengoku roared, slamming his hand on the table. "Do you know who's behind those people? It's the interests of half of the 170 member states! And the Celestial Dragons even have shares in Auction House No. 1!"

Garp picked his nose dismissively, flicking away a booger.

"That kind of filthy place should have been wiped out long ago. If I weren't too busy, I would have leveled it already. It's illegal territory anyway, not under our jurisdiction. We can just wipe it out, what are those countries going to do about it?"

This kind of shady business is inherently clandestine. If you suffer losses, you can only swallow your pride and bear it, at most they'll make things difficult for Luffy later.

But with his protection within the Navy, who dares to mess with Luffy?

That's the confidence of Garp, the Navy hero, the Iron Fist!

"But how did Luffy run into those trash? Weren't those two already sent back to Mary Geoise?"

Garp suddenly remembered the loophole in Sengoku's words.

"Those trash… ugh! Three of them came this time. They were supposed to go auctioning off slaves together, but two of them left first."

"There was one left who tried to abduct a woman, and he ran into Luffy who was cracking down on organized crime. And you know what happened next—your grandson just went at him without saying a word and gave him a massive beating. He's still unconscious."

Sengoku explained with a helpless expression.

Garp laughed again after hearing this: "Great! Well done! But how did you know he was unconscious?"

"His father was attacked, so of course he sent CP0 to protect him! That CP0 saw your grandson launch the attack from behind, wipe out all the CP5s accompanying him, and even landed a final punch to prevent the Celestial Dragon from waking up. Do you think that could be kept secret?"

"Uh..." Garp was speechless. "How could this brat be so careless? He didn't even notice such a big CP0."

Sengoku almost flipped the table: ╯‵□)╯︵┻━┻!

Is this the point?!

"I've already sent Kizaru to provide support. A Celestial Dragon is injured, so an Admiral's deployment is necessary! Even if it means catching a few scapegoats, we need to have an explanation! You'd better send your grandson out to hide for a couple of days."

"The public execution is imminent! Can't you two give me a break?! And I heard the World Government knows about it too, and they sent a Shichibukai. Those scum don't listen to us."

Sengoku rubbed his temples, feeling like his head was about to explode.

"What?! Those Shichibukai bastards are going too? No way, I'm going too! If they dare touch a hair on my grandson's head, I'll wipe them out!"

Garp panicked upon hearing this, rolling up his sleeves and ready to rush out.

"My grandson is doing a heroic deed! Even if the Heavenly King himself came, he wouldn't be able to touch him!"

Sengoku trembled with anger, grabbing Garp.

"You stop right there! We sent an Admiral, the Government sent a Shichibukai, what will you get in the end? Besides, even though Kizaru usually slacks off, his strength is undeniable. He'll definitely arrive before Bartholomew Kuma. Just have him keep an eye on Luffy!"

"Wait, who did you say went?"

"Tyrant Bartholomew Kuma."

Garp paused, his expression instantly changing: "Oh, that's Kuma. Never mind then."

Sengoku looked utterly bewildered: "???"

"You old codger, are you hiding something from me?"

Sengoku stared at Garp suspiciously.

"How could I! Come on, did you bring any senbei? I have some freshly arrived good tea, let's go have some tea, hahaha!"

Garp grabbed Sengoku and dragged him towards the tea table, giving the colonel a fierce glare before leaving.

The colonel, feeling like he'd been granted a pardon, scrambled out.

Meanwhile, Luffy and his Marine forces had swept through most of the area, their advance aimed directly at the human auction house in Mangrove District 1.

Inside the auction house, a large group of elegantly dressed nobles sat excitedly in the hall, discussing what kind of slaves they would buy to take home and play with.

Suddenly, a suffocating chill seeped into the hall from outside.

"Bankai: Daiguren Hyōrinmaru! Thousand-Year Ice Prison!"

Auction Hall No. 1, known as the largest den of iniquity in all of Sabaody Archipelago.

Nominally auctioning criminals and citizens of non-member states, it was in reality a sordid human trafficking operation.

Spotlights shone on the stage, illuminating the ugly, twisted faces of the nobles in the audience.

"What kind of goods are you looking to buy this time?"

An old man, in a sickeningly self-righteous tone, asked the wealthy woman next to him:

"Oh dear, I'd like to buy a few strong, young men."

The heavily made-up noblewoman spoke repulsive words without any restraint.

The hall was filled with the laughter of these beasts in human skin, who eagerly awaited the next victim to be dragged onto the stage.
