"I don't mind if the three of them kiss me… Gosh, I wish they would," Yuni muttered, biting her lip.
"Impossible… Now go. He's waiting. Not much time before your next date," the goddess said.
"How much time is left?" Yuni asked.
"Thirty minutes," the goddess replied.
"See you soon… now go," she added, disappearing from sight.
"Gosh… that nearly scared me," Yuni whispered, turning toward the door. She gripped the knob, inhaled deeply, and muttered under her breath:
"Kiss me… the perfect one."With that, she turned the knob and stepped out.
Kyung's eyes lit up when he saw her. "How are you now, babe?" he asked.
"I'm much better now," Yuni replied boldly.
She felt no nervousness, no fear, thanks to the goddess' calming words.
"It's obvious… you're not nervous and I love that," Kyung smiled,She nodded.
"Let's eat," Kyung said, and they began.
Yuni was shocked at herself, she was using a fork and knife like a pro. I wish this never ends, she thought.
"Babe," Kyung called.
"Hm?" she looked up, meeting his intense, passionate gaze.
"You're enjoying the food, right?" he asked.
"Yes," she nodded.
"So… have you thought about working in my company?" Kyung asked. She blinked in confusion.
"Company?"
"Yes."
"But… you're an idol. You and your brothers are K-pop," she said. Kyung gave her a strange look.
"I'm the only son and a businessman. I'm not a K-pop idol," he corrected.
"Oh," was all Yuni could say. Well, this is a dream… I have to accept whatever happens.
"Babe," Kyung called again.
"Are you sure you're okay? You're acting weird… and what's with the K-pop idols?" he asked, concern lining his voice.
Yuni blinked. She didn't know how to answer him.
"Babe" Kyung repeated, eyes glued to her face.
"I'm fine, Kyung… don't mind me," she said, forcing a smile.
"It's okay. I'm here for you and I'll always be here," he said, placing his hand over hers. Yuni shivered.
"Hm," she smiled and lowered her head, continuing to eat. Kyung watched her fondly. Maybe she's still shy about last night, he thought.
"Kyung," Yuni said gently.
"Yes, babe?"
"You mentioned working in your company… but I'm still in high school or a teenager—how could I…?" She trailed off as Kyung gently took her cutlery, cleaned his mouth with a napkin, and looked at her.
"Babe?"
"Hm?"
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head somewhere? Should we go to a hospital?" He asked, worried.
"Wh… why would you say that?" Yuni stuttered.
"Because of your questions. Yuni, you've already finished high school and college—you're in your twenties now," Kyung said. She coughed, shocked at the revelation.
"Are you okay?" he rushed to her side with a glass of water.
"Thanks," she whispered.
"You're welcome," he said tenderly.
"So… I'm in my twenties?" Yuni asked, brows furrowed. She looked at him, seeing nothing but care in his gaze.
"You're beautiful," Kyung muttered, taking the glass from her and placing it on the table. Yuni froze under his intense stare, unaware when he had removed it.
"I want to kiss you," he murmured, leaning closer. She closed her eyes instantly, wanting nothing more than his lips on hers.
Seconds passed… but she felt nothing. Opening her eyes, her heart sank. Kyung was gone.
"Kim Yuni," the goddess' voice echoed. Yuni looked around,Kyung hadn't come back yet.
"He didn't kiss me?" she whispered, frustrated.
"Thirty minutes have passed, Yuni," the goddess said calmly.
"So… he isn't the perfect one?" Yuni asked.
"I cannot answer that," the goddess replied.
"Why not?"
"We don't have much time. Let's move on to your next date," the goddess said.
"Is it Jimin or Kim Tan?" Yuni asked eagerly.
"You'll find out yourself," the goddess said, blowing a soft breath toward her.
Yuni closed her eyes as the world spun. When she opened them, a car was parked in front of her.
"Yuni," a familiar voice called. Her consciousness steadied as she realized someone was holding her hands.
She looked down… then slowly up to meet the owner of the voice.
"Are you okay, Yuni?" the guy asked gently.
Her eyes went wide. "Oppa…"
