"So you're still an educator focused on solving school bullying."
Hurley said while opening her makeup kit.
Harry shrugged; it was just a small favor. To his surprise, the incident made the news the very next day, and a bunch of media outlets portrayed him as a proactive advocate against school bullying.
"You've gotten a lot stronger again. Have you been secretly hiding away to work out lately?"
Harry, lying on the bed, shrugged. "I'm still growing; I grow every day. This is normal."
"Yeah, yeah, you're still young, and I'm already old."
Hearing the tone, Harry knew the situation was not good.
Seeing this, Harry pulled her back, took out a syringe, and injected her before she could react.
"What is this?" Hurley asked, full of confusion. However, in Harry's perception, she was very panicked, even a bit afraid—though not because of the injection.
Harry laughed. "I'm not going to harvest your kidneys to sell them, are you really that nervous?"
Although Osborn did sell many kidneys every month—artificial kidneys.
"A vitality enhancer that costs 2 million USD per dose, it can extend life and enhance cellular vitality." Harry took out a mirror. "Look, how do you feel?"
Realizing that Harry really didn't intend to do anything harmful, Hurley immediately focused her attention on her face.
Although Hurley was only 24 this year, long periods of irregular schedules and high-intensity work had left her with quite a few issues.
The serum took effect quickly; soon, she found her body feeling much lighter, and the skin on her face became hydrated and supple.
"You've become younger too. Look, isn't it about the same as when you were in college?"
"I've never heard of the company having this project. Did you make it yourself?"
"Yeah, 2 million USD is just the cost price. How much do you think would be appropriate to sell it for?"
Upon hearing a work-related question, Hurley immediately began to think, picking up her phone to look at it.
"What are the specific effects of the serum? Is there concrete experimental data?"
"I don't know, but it should be able to extend life by at least 10 years or so. This metric is not easy to record."
"10 years? That's amazing. At that price, probably only the wealthy can accept it. For the wealthy, 10 million would have a huge market."
Before Hurley could finish, Harry took her phone away.
"It doesn't matter how much it sells for. The point is, aren't you going to show some appreciation? I just spent 10 million on you in the blink of an eye."
In the end, although Hurley tried her best to remind Harry of the importance of this serum, it was all ignored by Harry. After being busy for so many days, what was wrong with taking a day off for himself?
This experiment not only solved the Osborn family's genetic disease but also saved a portion of the resurrection secret medicine. Harry couldn't be in a better mood.
Young people are full of energy and need to let it out.
It wasn't until the next evening that the two of them discussed the matter seriously.
"I plan to dilute the serum, reduce its potency, and then sell it to the wealthy and politicians at a high price. Then, I'll use the full-effect serum to exchange for their support in political relations."
Harry's tactic was quite similar to the Hand's, although the vitality enhancer was far inferior to dragon bones. But Harry wasn't a rat like a street gang, so this condition wasn't unreasonable.
With this card added, Norman was destined to become the President of the United States.
"That's not bad. Are you going to do it now?"
"In a few years. The President has just been elected, so there's no point in doing this now."
Besides, if everything goes smoothly, becoming President will be a breeze.
If I release it now, what if they drive up the price?
"Alright. Do you want to take a look at the company's recent financial reports?" Although she knew Harry wouldn't care, Hurley still asked.
"No, thanks. The company is profitable anyway."
It wasn't that Harry couldn't understand financial reports, but he got a headache from them; they seemed endless.
He did want Lening to process all the information and report it to him like an artificial intelligence, but reality didn't seem that simple.
Lening was invincible in terms of hardware, but it still needed training in terms of software. Harry often trained Lening to use the network to transmit information, but the results were not ideal.
Overall, when it came to copying things from storage devices or finding things along wires, Lening was almost invincible.
But following wireless networks was like an ordinary person learning a foreign language; it still needed time.
As for Tony's artificial intelligence, the only value of that thing was to serve as learning material for Lening. Putting it on Osborn's internal network? Don't even think about it.
"Fine, playing the Hands-off boss again." Hurley raised an eyebrow, saying half-complaining.
"Next, I want to start a new project. I have already invited Dr. Connors to be the consultant and person in charge. Remember to allocate funds for his project."
Harry briefly explained the "Biological Era" plan to Hurley.
"It sounds a bit like the Human Genome Project," Hurley said while taking notes.
In fact, Osborn had also been responsible for a part of the Human Genome Project and had earned quite a bit of funding.
"Something like that, but it focuses more on medical applications."
"So it's a project of a public welfare nature?"
"Yeah, something like that. Half public welfare, half scientific research."
Hurley noted these projects down one by one. As for the company's daily operations, as long as there were no major problems, Harry basically didn't need to spend any energy dealing with them.
"That's about it. Has anything happened at the company recently that requires my special attention?" Harry asked.
"There is one thing that might need to be reported to you. Max has been reporting to the company that the power station in Chicago has encountered a lot of trouble."
"That civilian organization keeps sabotaging, and construction cannot proceed normally."
Harry was stunned. Sabotage? They have the guts? Is the municipal government just sitting on their Hands? Why not arrest them all?
He previously thought it was just a normal protest with little impact, but now it seems that's not the case.
"What is the name of that civilian organization?" Harry became curious.
"According to Max's description, it is a hacker organization called DedSec. They seem to be accusing the government and a company called Blume on the internet of violating their privacy rights."
DedSec? Blume?
Harry immediately perked up. These two things shouldn't seem to appear in the Marvel Universe.
Perhaps it's another anomalous project, just like the Progenitor Virus.
"It looks like the situation is indeed a bit complicated. Prepare a plane for me; I'm going to take a trip to Chicago."
There's nothing going on in New York for now, and General Ross has lost contact again, probably organizing the capture of Hulk.
It just so happens that there is some time, so I can go and see if what is happening in Chicago is the same as what I imagined.
Harry got off the bed and put on his clothes.
"A plane? Not flying over there yourself this time?"
"Yes, a plane. You seem to have gotten a lot bolder, teasing your boss?"
