Chapter 212 - Chapter 212: The Recognition Task

The black monolith was placed in the center of the laboratory, and everyone was waiting for Harry to explain what it was.

This thing is called the Kree Monolith; it is actually a type of portal. On the other end is another Planet, and the first Inhumans, Hive, is over there.

Compared to Hive, Harry was more interested in that Planet with water and oxygen. Although it looked a bit desolate, it was undoubtedly a habitable Planet.

"So, aren't you going to say something?" Coulson asked from the side.

Harry glanced at everyone and found that they were all waiting for him to reveal the secrets.

Were they treating him like a know-it-all?

Harry thought for a moment and decided to reveal some information to them.

"This should be a portal."

"I thought it was just a rock," Skye said, but no one laughed.

Harry tapped the terminal on his arm, and the display began to play the prepared intelligence.

"During World War II, HYDRA often sent humans into this stone to study what it actually was, but obviously, they didn't succeed.

The mechanism of its teleportation is indeed a mystery, but I already have an idea of how to activate it."

After finishing, Harry controlled the Vibranium cage to open slowly, and the monolith was moved into a mechanical pit that looked like a well.

The monolith reacts to a specific frequency and turns into a liquid state; one only needs to pass through the liquid monolith to reach another Planet.

Harry didn't know exactly what that frequency was, but he could try it slowly, and it wouldn't take long.

Human hearing has a limited frequency range; everyone only felt Harry pause for a moment, and then the entire room was filled with a strange sound. The pitch of the sound kept getting higher, and then the monolith suddenly collapsed, turning into a pool of liquid!

"By using resonance to transmit a specific frequency to the monolith, it becomes like this."

As he spoke, Harry controlled a drone to fly into it, and it flew back out after a few minutes.

The demonstration ended, Harry turned off the resonance device, and the monolith returned to its solid state.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Harry immediately checked the conditions of the other Planet. As he had thought, the indicators there were all normal, and humans could completely survive there.

This was a huge discovery. Although Alfheim was also habitable, it was, after all, the territory of the Light Elves and the backyard of the Aesir and Vanir gods. Being able to carve out a piece of land to build a research station was already giving them a lot of face.

As long as he could master this monolith, Osborn would have another colonization option.

It was interesting to think about—Earth clearly hadn't developed faster-than-light engine technology yet, but it already had two ways to travel to other Planets.

Did this still count as backward local natives?

While thinking about this, Harry suddenly noticed that everyone was looking at him in unison.

"What? Is there something on my face?" Harry said.

"Why don't you show any confusion or surprise at all?" Skye indicated that his reaction was too calm!

"I remember I told you that Osborn already had a research station on another Planet?" Harry was also puzzled; what was there to be surprised about?

Aliens had already come in two waves, and each wave was aimed at occupying or destroying Earth. Wasn't it only a matter of time before Earthlings explored the stars?

It's impossible to just keep shouting "Aliens are coming to occupy Earth" every time, right?

Coulson was no longer calm: "We thought you were talking about Mars?"

Coulson was almost developing PTSD regarding alien products. After all, he had lost his life because of Aliens, and it wasn't just that he lost his life; he was resurrected after being injected with alien blood.

Now, ever since he regained some vague memories at Osborn, he was always wanting to write something down.

Harry thought for a moment. This team would definitely be used to handle Inhumans issues in the future, so he might as well say a little more.

"Not Mars, but Alfheim, the territory of the Light Elves. Osborn has already made contact with them and has benefited a lot in botany and soil science."

Harry showed them a few simple photos.

Seeing this stunned everyone—they certainly knew about Alfheim. With the appearance of Thor, Norse mythology was currently the hottest material for alien research.

"How did you get there?" As a physicist, Fitz immediately had question marks popping up in his head.

Harry sighed a little. It didn't feel very obvious when watching the movies, but after transmigrating, he realized that at this stage, the affairs of the Avengers level and what S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents faced really couldn't be considered on the same level.

The technology gap was too large. Originally, at this point in time, S.H.I.E.L.D. should still be struggling under the influence of the HYDRA split.

However, after Coulson provided the Avengers with the HYDRA Base, they blew it up in no time.

Harry explained simply: "Do you know the World Tree? You can imagine it as a hidden spacetime wormhole. By using reasonable methods, you can utilize it to open wormholes to the Nine Realms."

"It sounds like magic," Skye imagined the scene. "Do you have to chant spells or something?"

"Would HYDRA also know about this? I know they have planted many spies in the high-level leadership." Coulson thought about HYDRA again.

Regarding this, Harry indicated it was impossible.

Every member of the Osborn exploration team was personally screened by Harry. In front of his psychic abilities, no HYDRA Agent could deceive him.

On the other hand, this matter was only circulated among the heads of state—the true heads of state. If even the heads of state were HYDRA or had been infiltrated, then World War III would have already started, and there would be no need for any Insight Project or Helicarrier.

"Back to this stone, your next task is to find a person. That person seems to know a lot about these things."

Harry displayed the detailed information of a man on the screen.

Calvin Johnson, Skye's biological father. His wife was the leader of the Earth Inhumans and knew many legends about these things.

Skipping those back-and-forth conspiracies, what Harry wanted was to establish a relationship with the Inhumans and bring them under jurisdiction.

So Harry directly had Raina contact him.

"He is a very enthusiastic person. In the last century, he went to the China to work as a volunteer Doctor, and then fell in love with a woman there. But later, I don't know what happened, and he rarely appeared in public."

Harry said while playing the data.

"And, most importantly, Skye, guess where he worked as a volunteer Doctor?"

The data continued to play; Calvin's workplace was exactly the province where Skye was discovered by S.H.I.E.L.D.!

Skye was stunned. Although Harry didn't explicitly state that the place where Doctor Calvin worked and where she was discovered were the same village, the fact that Harry said it this way basically meant that these two things were connected!

Harry clapped his hands and said: "Alright, that's all the information. An informant will take you there. This matter also has a connection to HYDRA, so handle it yourselves.

I only have one requirement:

If it's about superpowered people or Aliens, report to A in a timely manner—I've given you some heavyweight intelligence; I'm more generous than Fury, right?"

Everyone looked at each other in dismay. The most confused was Skye, but her team members would comfort her.

He still had a lot of work to do. Tony, Banner, Natasha, and even Steve—these Avengers all wanted to contact him.

He was just too busy.
