Chapter 7 - The Prince in Disguise

Prince Susim also comes to know that his world has now fallen under the control of Takshak Lok, and he also learns about Princess Ratri's campaign.

After learning the entire situation, Prince Susim tries to escape from the Queen's Palace, but a state of emergency has been declared throughout the world. Because of this, he fails to escape from the palace.

Meanwhile, the rulers of the remaining worlds organize a grand assembly at one place. Their purpose is to protect their worlds, and those who have already lost their worlds wish to reclaim them.

King Drishtadum is chosen as the leader of this council.

One of the rulers speaks to King Drishtadum.

"King Drishtadum, Takshak Lok has attacked our world. King Takshak wants to establish his dominance over all the worlds. He has already captured the blue gems of Shauhdr, Tuluv, and Sameer Lok, and he has sent his Vijayvahini army to attack Ambar Lok."

"You already know, Your Majesty, how cruel and merciless King Takshak is."

"Yes, King Drishtadum," says King Ambar of Ambar Lok.

"Please help us and protect our worlds. Only you are capable of defeating Takshak Lok."

King Drishtadum listens to everyone very carefully and then says,

"Do not worry. I will certainly find a solution to this problem. But for now, all of us must unite and face Takshak Lok and their Vijayvahini army with courage and bravery."

All the rulers speak together,

"Yes, Your Majesty. You are right."

Meanwhile, in Ambar Lok, Princess Ratri arrives to obtain the blue gem. She sits comfortably on a tall hill and watches the battle between the army of Ambar Lok and the Vijayvahini army.

Inside her mind, Princess Ratri thinks,

"Hmmm… who will win?"

"The army of Ambar Lok or the Vijayvahini army?"

"Well, the army of Ambar Lok is also quite brave."

"But our… no, no… King Takshak's Vijayvahini army is also very brave."

"Oh hey, be careful!"

"These people really don't know how to fight properly."

"Cut his neck first!"

"And what is that foolish soldier doing? That was such a good opportunity. The sword could have pierced his chest."

"I feel like I don't even need to fight in this war."

"They will handle it themselves."

"So why am I even here?"

"Let's go, Princess Ratri. I should return to the palace and rest."

Stretching lazily and smiling, Princess Ratri leaves the place and returns to the palace.

She goes to her chamber and begins to rest.

Meanwhile, King Takshak and Guru Rambh believe that Princess Ratri is fighting the battle in Ambar Lok.

While Princess Ratri is resting in her chamber, she suddenly hears a noise.

When she comes outside to see what it is, she finds Prince Susim, dressed in a woman's disguise, trying to escape from the Queen's Palace.

"Who are you?" Princess Ratri calls from behind.

"N… no… I am a new maid of the Queen's Palace," he replies nervously.

Because of the darkness, his face cannot be seen clearly.

"Come forward into the light."

"Yes, Princess."

"You…!"

"You are the same one I met in Vihar Forest, aren't you?"

"What was your name?"

"My name is Purva, Princess."

"So what are you doing outside my chamber?"

"I… I lost my way and accidentally came here."

"That is alright."

"But because of you my rest was disturbed. So now you will serve me."

"Yes, Princess."

"Go and prepare something very delicious for me to eat."

"Hurry."

"Yes, Princess."

Prince Susim goes to the royal kitchen.

When the other maids see the new maid in the kitchen, they ask,

"Who are you? And what are you doing in the royal kitchen?"

"I am a new maid of the Queen's Palace. My name is Purva. Princess Ratri sent me here to prepare food for her."

The maids whisper among themselves.

"Oh God, she is so beautiful."

"Yes, truly."

"But what is the use? She is still just a maid like us."

The other maids laugh.

"Yes, exactly."

Prince Susim enters the kitchen and tries to cook.

Inside his mind he thinks,

"Oh God… how am I supposed to cook?"

"I have never even entered a kitchen before."

"What should I make?"

Just then the head maid says,

"Why are you staring at the kitchen like that? Food does not cook itself."

"Yes… I was just about to cook. I am new here, so I was just looking to see where everything is kept."

"Alright, stop arguing. Whatever you want to cook, tell the ingredients to Rupa. She will give them to you."

"Go, Rupa."

"Yes."

"Tell me what you need."

Prince Susim hesitates.

"I need… all kinds of spices, all kinds of vegetables, cooking oil, salt, and water."

"Alright."

Rupa brings all the ingredients. After that, the other maids return to their work.

Prince Susim begins cooking.

First, he pours all the water into a pot. Then he adds all the vegetables and starts boiling them.

After boiling them, he removes the vegetables and adds all the spices into the same water and boils it again. He also adds salt and cooking oil.

When only a little water remains, he puts the vegetables back into the pot and cooks them for a while.

Seeing this strange way of cooking, all the maids stop their work and start watching him.

Prince Susim thinks to himself,

"I have no idea what I just cooked."

"But whatever it is, I have to take it to the princess now."

"If I get the chance, I will escape from here."

Prince Susim takes the food and starts walking toward Princess Ratri's chamber, while also trying to find a way to escape from the palace.

But each time, he fails.
