Synopsis
Wut thought the most complicated part of life would be finishing high school. Instead, he keeps running into the same guy. First time: an accident. Second time: still embarrassing. Third time: now he owes him. Phol is cold, unreadable, and annoyingly calm about the whole thing. He doesn’t ask for money, apologies, or explanations. Just a quiet reminder that Wut now owes him three favors. Which would be fine… if Phol were just some random guy. But he isn’t. Phol Thanakrit Rattanapong is the acting CEO of a billion-dollar company, heir to one of the most powerful business families in the country… and somehow, for reasons Wut absolutely cannot understand, he’s suddenly investing in Wut’s struggling band. Now Wut is stuck between band practices, suspicious friends, a roommate who keeps acting weirdly secretive, and a billionaire CEO who seems far too interested in his life. The real question is no longer why do I keep bumping into this guy? It’s… Was it ever an accident at all?

Chapter 1 - 1. I GOT ACCEPTED!!

The morning was quiet, almost too quiet. Wut stretched, blinked at the sunlight sneaking through his curtains, and immediately thought of the email he'd been refreshing all night. The acceptance letter! Today was the day he'd finally know if he'd gotten into the university of his dreams.

He grabbed his phone and scrolled. Nothing yet. Nothing. Nothing.

Then it rang. An unfamiliar number. Wut stared at it. Ignore? Ignore. He did. It rang again. Reluctantly, he swiped to answer.

"Wut? It's me, Pheet" a panicked voice whispered. "I… I can't perform today. Food poisoning. Hospital. Can you…?"

Wut froze. "Perform? Today?"

"Please! We practiced together. The others can help if you get stuck. I'll even pay for a trip anywhere you want! Wut please... you're my best buddy I can't do anything without you. Please." The voice pleaded.

Wut hesitated. He had plans. Well… no plans, technically. But now chaos was knocking at his door. After a long sigh, he muttered, "Fine. I'll do it."

He hurriedly got ready, mentally preparing himself as he left for the practice room. His fingers danced over the laptop keyboard while also tuning his guitar, switching between the two with frantic precision. Every few seconds, he refreshed the email.

Then he noticed a shadow. Someone had walked in.

"Hey!" the guy called out, voice brimming with disbelief.

Wut didn't look up. His eyes were glued to the screen. He ignored the voice and reached for his guitar again.

Suddenly, relief and excitement collided inside him. His finger hovered over the refresh button one last time, and then—there it was: "Congratulations! You have been accepted."

"I GOT ACCEPTED!" Wut screamed at the top of his lungs.

And then his head collided with the guy's chin. Hard.

"Ow!" the guy muttered, gripping his jaw.

Wut blinked, mortified. "Sorry! I… I didn't see you!"
