"Everyone the Magical showdown of this year will begin shortly, our honourable guests have arrived"
The Magical showdown has two parts, first is a battle royal, That will not be available to public but the second part one on one match will be available to public. The Top 40 will be selected for one on one match.
After that they casted a spell that teleported into another space it was an open space and Alex and others were given a watch that shows your rankings.
Shortly after the speaker said.
"warriors, the battle royal will begin in 3,2,1..0"
There was huge explosions happening in many part of the ground. It eliminated more than 435890 people on the spot. It seems there some strong people here but Alex had a plan, he didn't fight with the tough guys from the start but started one shot the weak guys, no massacring the weak guys would be more suitable.
After looking around for a while the weak guys were completely wiped out. Then Alex began to fight the average guys still massacring them quite easily. When he looked at his position in the rankings he is currently in the top 72 rank. To his surprise there are of 94 people left. It means that to get a higher ranking he need to defeat some higher ranking guys so he just did that got into 37th ranking. Before he could defeat another person the battle royal was over.
It was around 1 hour.
"Congratulations to the warriors who is in the top 40. The one on one matches will begin shortly" the announcer said.
After that Alex met up with Oliver and Flora.
When he got there Alex saw Flora comforting Oliver because he lost right in the beginning. When Oliver saw Alex he thought Alex also lost.
"Don't worry bro, we lost in the match but we would win in life" Oliver said.
"Don't worry Alex, even if you lost don't be sad" Flora said.
"Who said I lost?" Alex asked.
They were shocked by what Alex said.
"I was in the top 40" Alex said.
"Don't lie, Alex" Flora said.
"Sure if that is what you want to believe" Alex said.
Both Oliver and Flora still didn't believe Alex.
When the top 40 were announced they were shocked when they noticed that Alex was in the top 50.
"This is dream, this has to be dream. The world do not make sense" Oliver said while hitting his head of the ground.
"Wait, it might be another Alex not our Alex" Flora quickly guessed.
"Yes, that might be the case" they both said in unison.
Alex was impressed by their imagination but didn't say anything.
According to one of the match making, Alex's match was the second one.

"First match is now officially over, the winner is Lucas Azarath Noah" the announcer said. The match ended in an instant he one shoted the other guy.
"Now moving to the second match was Ash Flames vs Alex Wayz" the announcer said.
The crowd was excited about Ash's performance. It said that Ash is one of a kind genius. A noble of Flames family blessed by the god of fire.
"The match will start in 3,2,1"
Soon as he heard that he attacked Alex with a Explosion magic.
Alex dodged it before it could hit him.
"Dude, aren't you supposed to go easy and later use your most powerful attack?" Alex said.
"I wanted to defeat you easily, since weak people like you isn't worthy enough to even stand with me. My goal is Lucas, he Is one worthy of that" Ash said.
After he said that he continued to use magic explosion and Alex continued to dodge it. After a few minutes Ash began to use more fire based magic but none of hit Alex.
After a while Alex closed in for a attack using a sword. When Ash saw Alex closing in for a attack. Ash formed a barrier to protect himself. Luckily low to mid barrier magic don't have any protection from any attack underground attack.
Alex just did the one of worst have done to his opponent. He put his sword underground diagonally half outside the barrier and half under the barrier and placed his leg on the sword using a little strength and it worked like a seesaw. The broken pieces of ground was sending straight to Ash's face and he was knocked out.
"The winner is Alex Wayz" the announcer said.

"Alex, dude you really did it. You defeated him worst way possible" Oliver said.
"Luckily, I defeated him before he showed any of magic" Alex said.

After a few matches the first round concluded the another announcement came.
"First round of the magical showdown has concluded the second round will begin soon, all the participants get ready"
Alex's match was last this time. Alex was watching other contestants fighting he noticed some strong individuals but the strongest of them was Lucas.

"Everyone this is the last match of the second round, Alex Wayz vs Robert Grandwolf"
The audience was hyped up, famous vs unknown. Robert Grandwolf was a genius that is known for strength and intelligence while most things about Alex is unknown.
Robert Grandwolf was getting ready for the fight it seems that he isn't underestimating Alex like Ash did.
"Match will begin in 3,2,1"
Robert charged at Alex without any hesitation. Robert was attacking like crazy while Alex was defending.
Robert's swordsman carried a sense of superiority of predator hunting a prey.

After that Robert still was continuously attacking him but this time Alex saw a opening when Robert used a little too much strength for his slash and Alex blocked it, quickly sneaked behind his back and put his sword on his neak.

Alex smiled at him. Robert also did the same. Both not knowing why they smiled.
"Alex is the winner" the announcer said.
"For the semi final and final we have something special dear audience, the semi finals will be a battle of 5 participates each, there will be two of those battles and top 2 of each of the battle royal will be selected for the finals. The finals is battle of 4 participates, the one who defeats the others will be the winner of the magical showdown"
Alex's instinct was right, conserving energy was the right way.

"Dear Audience, our semi finals will begin 10,9,8…3,2,1"
Soon as the announcer finished counting the terrian of the arena changed it is not easy to see the other opponents and sneak attacks can be used more easier than before.
Alex's battle was the first, his plan was simple, deal with the one of the opponent and letting the other fight among themselves.
Soon as he saw a person Alex sneaked behind him slashed him, soon after that he was unconscious because of excessive bleeding. Since the band around their hand actually can teleport and heal them before they could die there will be no problems.
Then Alex was running around the arena until he found other three guys fighting. Two of the guys teamed up against one guy and the guy was easily defeating the two guys by just using pure Strength.
He managed to defeat him.
"Audience the first battle has officially concluded the two participants who is entering the finals are Kai Riser and Alex Wayz" he announced.
Alex didn't watch the second battle because one of the people advancing to the finals is Lucas and Alex want to rest for sometime before the finals.
He was right the ones who advanced to the finals are Lucas and a girl name Anastasia.
Everyone was hyped for the finals because it is a battle of for people they were hella excited.

"Everyone cheer for our participants who fought many and advanced to the finals" he said.
The time the landscape completely changed no one can even see the audience. It seems a high ranking mage did something the arena which was already large is now like a another world.
Everything Alex an the others do, the audience can see it through a screen.
"Alright, let's do this" he said to himself.
Alex began to inspect the terrain before making his move.
After sometime he saw Kai, before he did something Lucas and Anastasia ganged up on him and he was eliminated in less than 30 seconds.
Alex quickly realised why they did that because they want to have one on one match without anyone interfering.
'These fuckers' Alex thought.
But Alex to fight them head on anyway. The moment Anastasia saw Alex.
"This one is mine, Lucas" she said.
She launched at me with her fist, it seems she is a fist user. She was infusing her fist with mana every hit felt like truck to Alex. It seems Alex was putting up a fair fight after a while this continued, it ended with broke his sword with her.

She was sent flying. When Alex looked at his hands it was shaking a bit.
'Looks like I can't afford to be in power saving mode' Alex thought to himself.
It seems Alex punch made her bleed a little in the face and hands but no major damage.
"Need some help?" Alex asked acknowledging that Alex stronger than the other guys he fought.
"Not bad, what ever your name is" Alex said Anastasia.
"Anastasia, my name is Anastasia call me that" she said to Alex.
"Alright Anastasia, shall we begin" Alex said.
As Alex said that he infused with mana in legs and charged at Anastasia, Anastasia even after infusing her eyes with mana she was barely reacted to Alex's speed.
"Ahahaha" she screamed in pain.
Even though she managed to block it the impact was so strong she began cough blood.
"Anastasia" Lucas screamed and charged at Alex with his sword.
Lucas's managed to only make Alex's hand a little. Soon after that Alex began to redirect Lucas's sword but his sword had certain flow to IT when Alex redirect it Lucas controlled direction of sword to still hit Alex. While Lucas attacked Alex without any signs of running out of energy Alex was slowly accumulating wounds.
After a while Alex had light wounds all over his body and Anastasia managed to recover enough energy to fight.
After that Lucas was still fighting Alex but this time Alex locked Lucas hands and then grabbed his sword with his hands, the he infused with his knee with mana and used Point explosion to destroy it.
He didn't end it there, he gathered Mana to his leg kicked the broken piece of the sword hard using point explosion. The broken sword slashed through both Lucas's and Anastasia's face at the same time causing it to bleed.
Everyone was taken aback by his actions.
"Look he managed to destroy Lucas's sword. Even though he was fighting both Anastasia and Lucas, he is still in the game, Amazing" the crowd cheered.
"That's my brother" Flora boosted.

"Anastasia is eliminated by Alex" the speaker announced.
Alex eliminated Anastasia using Black fist Art's 1st form 'absorbed explosion'. When a punch is landed in a enemy's body the Mana of enemy is absorbed to the user fist to cause a powerful explosion.
"What a powerful fist Art properly the most powerful fist art I ever seen" Lucas said.
"Now I will go all out" Lucas said as he summoned a sword out of his subspace.
"That is the 'sword of the heroes'. Don't tell me Lucas is planning to use that on Alex" The master of Black mage tower said.
"Lucas, Is he out of his mind using a legendary sword in child's battle" the blue mage tower commented.
The sword of heroes a legendary sword that contains the souls of the former heroes that defeated the demon kings.

"Lucas when did he learnt overdrive" white mage tower master said.
"As expected of the hero's son, he is strongest among the children of his age" The green mage tower master said.
Overdrive is enchantment that multiply one's strength or the strength of their magic by 10 times.
Even though Alex had a similar technique he decided against using it.

Alex's right hand was completely destroyed and Lucas's stomach had hole in it the magic band in his hand restored his stomach so he was alive but after sometime he fell still holding on to his conscious waiting for Alex fall unconscious due to blood loss meanwhile Alex's right hand along with his band was completely destroyed without a trace so he couldn't recover using it.
When Lucas waited for Alex to fell unconscious. Alex casted a spell.
"Mana absorption" under a minute he gained almost 10 percentage of Mana back with that he casted a another spell.
"Divine flames of healing"
Suddenly A white fire covered him in just a few second his injures healed, his arm regenerated it also cleaned the blood stains on his body.
Seeing that, Lucas passed out.
"The winner of the magical showdown is Alex" the speaker announced.
"Oh! Did you see that? Isn't he amazing. Even Lucas lost. The hero's son lost" the crowd started to gossip.
"The reward for the winner of the tournament is an elixir and a legendary sword crafted by The weapon master along with 5000 mid-essence stones and 100 High-essence stones" the speaker announced.
"The rewards are given to Alex by the master of blue mage tower, Sophia Thrones" he announced.
The moment he said that blue mage tower master appeared in front of Alex and give him the rewards before she can say another thing, Alex sensing what is she going to say, he escaped the arena without anyone sensing. The blue mage tower master was dumbfounded and the other mage tower masters and sword masters was holding back trying not laugh at her.
