Chapter 19 - 2 nd floor of castle।

The power of the Purple Fire Sea Wave was so terrifying that the monstrosity of these demons was fading in the face of its horror. The hands of the two demons in front had half disappeared.

That flame was now surrounding those demons in such a way that it was like 20 to 25 living humans burning on a funeral pyre. The flames rising from the ground, combined with the fire wave coming from the front, had opened the gates of the third hell.

However, just then, all the demons took out an evolution pill from their warm pockets, and as they did so, a pressure began to build in the air.

That pill was red in color, and the red aura hovering around it could be seen with the naked eye. However, when viewed through the purple fire, that pill appeared black. Among those people, only two were the ones who had fought the Khurana family before. However, even in that fight, they had been powerless, which had resulted in one of that human's legs and one arm being cut off. The other human had now tied bandages over both his eyes. This was because of Dev.

All of them consumed the pill and, even in that intense heat, very quickly began to show a transformation. One demon quickly puts the pill into the mouth of the demon whose hands were burnt.

The fire wave in front strikes all those demons, causing them to burn severely, but at the same time, they begin to evolve. A horn starts to grow on their heads, and their teeth and mouths become deformed.

Their muscles experience massive growth. Now they were burning less, as if their muscles had started to fight against that fire. Seeing this, Rakesh Khurana does not get worried, but simply brings a smile to his face.

On this side, looking at the broken bridge, Dev says, "What's done is done." Saying this, Dev shifts his focus away from the bridge and looks ahead, and sees a palace far in the distance. Dev does not want to wait any longer; he increases his speed and immediately reaches the front of the palace. In front of him are large black pillars, on top of which are statues of demons, some of which looked very powerful.

Upon seeing those demons, Dev feels an invisible force pressing down on him. Dev looks at those demons, and it seems as if they are about to come alive right now and emerge from the statues.

One held a mace in his hand, one held a thick, heavy wooden club, thicker at the front with sharp edges, and a demoness held a veena in her hands, her fingers resting on that veena instrument, and another demoness held a pair of scissors in her hands.

However, these are all statues. But they all looked as if they were the former guardians of this palace and that there is still some connection between them and these statues. Dev calms his heart, telling himself that these are just statues. However, he thinks that even if they were alive, Dev would somehow manage to save his life, no matter what. Dev now moves towards the palace gate.

Dev carefully crossed those pillars and reached the gate. In front of him was a wall-like door, which seemed very heavy and difficult to open. Dev pushes the door, but nothing happens. The door doesn't even budge from his push. Seeing this, Dev says, "This is very difficult, how will I ever get past this?" Dev begins to analyze all the possibilities in his mind to open this gate.

Just then, Disha's voice comes, "I feel that you want to open this gate, but it is locked. I suggest you climb the wall and go over it." Dev says, "There's a risk in that, I've never done rock climbing." Dev observes the door and, seeing the red marks on it and remembering the demons, bites his finger with his teeth and drops a single drop of blood onto the gate. Dev chose to do this because he also wanted to check his healing ability.

As soon as that blood touches the gate, the red lines visible on the gate begin to glow with red light. And simultaneously, due to 10x healing, Dev's pain also began to subside, and the bleeding stopped.

Seeing the door in front of him glow red and then fade, Dev says, "What happened?"

Dev extends his hand and pushes the door again. Upon pushing, this time the door opens without any resistance, with a low "chrrrr" sound echoing inside the palace.

Dev looks inside. Inside was a very large space, filled with nothing but darkness. Compared to the outside, it was much darker inside. Dev slowly steps inside. He is unaware of the dangers within.

Dev takes out his mobile phone, turns on the flashlight, and looks ahead. There stand many demon-like guards wearing armor. Their heads are also covered with helmets. Seeing this, and not seeing them move, Dev lowers the light slightly.

There he sees a bony hand holding a weapon, its gloves torn. The skeleton inside is clearly visible.

Dev says, "Alright, fine. I thought they might come alive, and then I'd be in big trouble."

Dev feels relief in his heart seeing that dead skeleton and thanks God. Simultaneously, moving his light forward, he proceeds further inside the palace.

So far along the way, Dev has found skeletons of large demons. Now in front of Dev are several rooms, although they are without doors.

Dev considers going there and reaches one of the rooms, where he finds several pointed mace-like weapons. However, they are twice the size of Dev's hand. Dev grips one with both hands and pulls it out.

After searching three or four rooms, he finds three or four more such weapons. He drags one of them outside.

Nearby, he sees a torn, old cloth, from which several elephant tusks are hanging as decoration. Dev uses that large weapon to push the cloth aside and steps inside.

Inside, there is a rough, broken, worn-down staircase. Seeing this, Dev turns back to look. He had completely checked this floor—there was nothing here except for some weapons.

Dev goes up the stairs. Reaching there, he sees red and purple light spread all around. Compared to the previous floor, there is considerably more light here.

He looks for the source of that light and sees a very large, empty altar, on which rests a round wooden orb, roughly the size of a football.

Inside it were several layers, and on them were engraved many words, which were very mysterious—like some ancient script. Red and purple light was emanating from it. Along with it, an invisible power could be felt, one whose immense power could only be guessed at by seeing it.

Upon seeing this, a system window appears in front of Dev, and a voice says—

"Congratulations! You have discovered the 'Demon Body Art'. Acquire it and experience the immense pleasure of system gold coins."

Hearing this, Dev says, "There it is… 10,000 coins… and the Demon Body Art!"
