When Vakratara collides with the skeleton ahead due to the jolt, his eyes were closed at that moment because of the impact. And when his eyes open, right in front of them stands that snake with its hood spread. Suddenly seeing that snake so close to him and remembering its poison, Vakratara trembles deep inside.
However, just then he controls himself and, turning his head to the side, quickly shoves the skeleton away with his hand. Vakratara had narrowly escaped being bitten by the snake. At the moment the snake struck and Vakratara turned his head aside, it looked as if he was trying to hug the snake, and the snake wanted to kiss him, but he was avoiding it.
As soon as he shoves it away, the snake's body — which had been on the skeleton's skull — and the skeleton itself go in different directions. Just then, Vakratara turns around in anger and looks at his attacker. Vakratara sees — a stone statue holding a mace in its hand, looking directly at Vakratara with its red eyes, emanating an aura of dominance even from within the water.
Just by looking at it, one could sense demonic power. Seeing such physical strength, the anger in Vakratara's eyes turns into astonishment. He says, "A Grandmaster-level statue? Here in this ruin?" Vakratara says, "Oh! This one is as powerful as I am."
Vakratara begins to chant some mantras from his mouth and manifest a red light in his hand. Seeing that light, Dev feels something ominous, as if this is not a good power. Dev notices that as the light grows, the pressure inside the water also increases, and the light looks as if someone has manifested red lava underwater.
However, just as Vakratara was thinking that he would defeat this new enemy, with a 'dhaam-dhaam' sound, two more figures fall into the water. Dev sees — one statue with scissors in its hand and another with a mughdal — and says, "It seems these have followed me all the way here."
On this side, Vakratara becomes troubled seeing two more statues. "Three? Where are they coming from?" Suddenly, due to this shock, the light in Vakratara's hand also stops growing and begins to diminish. Just then, Vakratara steadies himself and pulls towards himself the blood from the bodies of the scattered demons who had been injured in the previous attack.
Dev sees — many red lines, like ropes being pulled, begin to merge into the red light in Vakratara's hand. Being so close to Vakratara, Dev could now feel the pressure of that red light. Dev thinks to himself, "I cannot withstand this demon right now. He hasn't even attacked yet, and such terrifying pressure is already coming."
Dev looks around him. He sees that demon — right now he was looking at the three demonic statues ahead, so his attention was not on Dev. Dev sees this as the right opportunity. He looks around and spots the skeleton nearby, which had come this way after Vakratara had shoved it, and now the snake was no longer on it either.
Dev finds this appropriate. Understanding what Disha had said, Dev moves towards it. Reaching near the skeleton, Dev says, "How do I take this?" He remembers the system, and says to Disha, "Store it in system space." Disha says, "Alright, but you must touch it once by holding it." Dev says, "Yes, just that? Alright." He brings his finger near the skeleton's chest and tries to touch and hold it.
As soon as Dev holds the skeleton, red circular waves appear around him. From within the red waves, vein-like structures begin to move towards Dev inside the circle. On the other side, a demon standing a short distance from Dev sees this and opens his mouth to laugh loudly underwater, but just then water goes into his mouth, and he simply cannot laugh.
This was the same one-eyed cultivator who had created this hypnosis circle, controlling his own blood in the water. And seeing Dev inside the circle, he begins to feel joy deep within. He wanted to laugh, but he could not. He says to himself, "Last time you escaped, but this time how will you escape? And I don't even feel any cultivator power from this one — meaning he came here thinking he could defeat us without any power."
Looking at the two knives lodged in his chest, with revenge and anger in his eyes, he looks at Dev and says, "Blood Mind Control!" Just then, Dev looks around himself — just as rings form around the planet Jupiter, similarly now a circle of red blood had formed around Dev.
Dev sees — many thin, vein-like structures filled with red light, having just emerged, moving towards him. For some reason, Dev could now only move very slowly. Those structures had already reached Dev. Where could Dev even go? As soon as one red structure touches Dev, the skeleton he had been holding slips from his hand, and the system's condition is fulfilled.
In the blink of an eye, just like last time, that skeleton disappears from the air. On this side, the eyes of the one-eyed demon who had been watching Dev turn from anger to astonishment. Both his eyes remain wide open. "What I just saw — was it real or an illusion? This... this... this skeleton — how did it disappear into thin air? This skeleton was our treasure — it just vanished like that? Surely, this must be the doing of this human."
He intensifies his magic further in anger. On this side, all those red structures had begun to prick the outside of Dev's body. Dev felt as if someone was trying to stick thorny hair onto his body. However, it was just in the form of energy — not actual thorns. When Dev tries to move himself, as soon as his body moves, a sharp pinching sensation like thorns pricking arises. Dev lets out sounds of pain — "haan-haan" — and thinks, "What is this? Is this the same magic by which that squirrel was trapped?"
