Chapter 13 - Forest Training and an Unexpected Provocation

On an ordinary day in Magnolia, there was a young man around 18 years old with black hair, fair skin, dark eyes, and well-defined features.

Alex was on the outskirts of the city training in the forest, performing his exercise routine just like every other day.

However, for the past two days—ever since releasing his libido—he felt like new. No more insomnia, no more "panda eyes." Now he had the energy to focus entirely on his training. The exercises remained the same, but now that he had awakened his magic, he had to start practicing with it. He needed to find his limit and see just how much he could achieve with AllFiction.

Alex could create screws the size of a forearm. The effect he used the first time was to negate the magic within a wizard's body. In the world of Fairy Tail, most of the energy wizards use is Ethernano; once a person's magic container can no longer utilize magic, they essentially become unable to fight.

While there are exceptions like Zeref and his creations who use Curses and spiritual power it would still be a few years before Zeref's demons started causing trouble. So, for now, he didn't have to worry about Curses or spiritual power; he first had to focus on negating magic. Additionally, he needed to learn how to use All Fiction without the need to manifest the screws.

But to do that, he needed a living target to practice on, so Alex headed to the river outside the city.

After a few attempts, Alex managed to catch a fish with one of his magic screws. Now that the fish had a hole in it, the goal was to close the wound. Although he had already done this with the Guild Master, that was a small wound, nothing difficult; this time, the wound was much larger.

Sitting on the ground, he placed a hand over the fish he had caught. A black magic circle appeared on his hand; the glow covered the fish's wound, and seconds later, the hole was gone. To verify it worked, Alex picked up the fish and inspected it thoroughly, touching the area where the wound had been. Feeling that nothing was out of place, Alex considered it a success.

"It didn't seem difficult to use magic the way I imagined… could it be because this magic was a gift from a divine being and I can use it naturally?" Alex thought.

To test his theory, he continued to inflict wounds on the fish from cutting off its head to slicing it in half, and causing other injuries until it was nearly mutilated. The result was that his magic negated every wound that had existed on the fish. Then, Alex went further: he completely crushed half of the fish, turning it into a nearly non-existent pulp. If he were ever to lose a limb, he needed to know if he could recover it.

With high expectations, Alex used his magic again. The magic circle illuminated the remaining half of the fish, and seconds later, it was whole again. Seeing that the experiment was a success, Alex changed targets. Since the forest had various types of fauna, he began hunting different animals to practice: rabbits, hares, monkeys, deer, etc. Every living being he found was used to practice his magic.

The animals saw Alex as a sort of demon who tortured them with physical wounds only to return them to normal, over and over until he grew tired. When he finally released them, they didn't hesitate to flee as fast as they could, away from that black-haired, dark-eyed demon.

...

Alex finished his magic training and went to the guild to get a meal. It was almost dusk, so he only planned to stay for a bit before heading home. Erza had said the mission would take a few days, so he would be on his own for a while.

Alex entered the guild and was greeted by a random guy flying toward him. Without hesitation, he dodged the unidentified man. As always, the guild was a chaotic scene of wrestling where the last one standing was the winner.

Ignoring the crowd, he went to sit at the bar. It was fast becoming his favorite spot; there was no chaos there, and besides, there was a beautiful white-haired woman with an angelic face, the body of a succubus, and a mindset for provoking chaos in poor souls. It was a combination far too contradictory for a human being, but thinking about it, she had a demon inside her SatanSoul. That might be why Mirajane turned out that way.

But that didn't stop Alex from wanting to sit near the bar to appreciate that beautiful face and milky-white body, noticing her cleavage where a large part of her breasts was visible. Alex was grateful for this second life.

"Hi Mira, can I order some food?"

"Hi Alex, of course! Tell me, what would you like to order?"

"Anything with meat is fine for me. I'll also take a beer, please."

"Okay, I'll go to the kitchen to prepare your order. I'll be right back."

Mirajane turned around, and Alex watched her rear sway from side to side through her dress. She was hot as a devil.

"You already have Erza living with you and you're still checking out another woman… seems like the new guy can't keep his eyes still, huh?"

A voice sounded beside him. Alex turned to see who was speaking and saw CanaAlberonasitting down next to him.

"It couldn't be that obvious, right?" Alex asked with some doubt. He couldn't act that brazen in the guild, could he?

Cana smirked at Alex's question, took a swig of her beer, and said, "Well, to be honest, you can't be entirely blamed. Mirajane moved her ass in a provocative way; checking her out is only natural for a man."

Alex realized that the woman with the angelic face was teasing him. "I thought so. There's no way hips move like that on their own."

Cana was surprised by Alex's bold response. "Hahahaha!" she laughed, clutching her stomach. "You're pretty fun to talk to, being so shameless. But you're right Mirajane doesn't walk that way at all. She's most likely planning to mess with you."

Alex looked confused, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I don't get it. Why do you say she wants to mess with me? I don't think she and I have any problems."

Cana sighed for the new guy; he certainly didn't know Mirajane fully. "Well, you might have a normal relationship with her, but if we're talking about Erza, that's another story."

"Certain things happened before Mirajane became the calm woman she is today. A long time ago, Mirajane and Erza were rivals, sort of like Natsu and Gray. They fought over anything or used tiny excuses to clash. Both wanted to be the strongest woman in the guild, so they didn't see eye to eye."

Alex nodded at Cana's words. "I understand the context a bit, but what do I have to do with that?"

"Old habits die hard; Mirajane might just want to mess with you to get under Erza's skin. Don't take it to heart. If you play along, you'd only be falling into her game."

"Advice noted, but if she goes too far, she shouldn't blame me if something happens." A certain glint could be seen in Alex's eyes.

Cana raised an eyebrow; this new guy wasn't like the fools in the guild who lacked even a shred of boldness to make a move on a woman.

Things were certainly going to get interesting in the guild with a guy like Alex. There were already daily brawls, but a romantic or erotic drama? Now that would be something new.
