I always chose wrong hands. I had bad hands , a terrible judge of character , a horrible persistent belief that they will change but with this one ? I can't surely say. Cause I am certain about one thing. He is evil in every way possible , I left everything I bought at his mansion to spite him up ,but I got no reaction . He's like a tree, I can't kick or torment to break instead he is breaking ans tormenting me . But I am glad that I am not within his space ,but I know he installed cameras just like the ones I found in his mansion. His guards escort me to my new dorm and to my supirse I find a girl there. She looks at us and hugs me ," Hello , my name is Katie and your new roommate."she says and I smile back at her.
"I'm Eva ,but sometimes people call me Lyra just stick with Eva ."I tell her extending my hand to her which she eagerly shakes mine . She giggles, pulling me in our dorm . "So I took the room with less light in it cause I hate the sun ,so your room has like the balcony to it and it's yours or whatever. " she blabbers on. And I nod my head ,we both get in my room , it's spacious and luxurious as she said , balcony and all the light I do not need . She glances at the necklace ring on my neck, "That looks expensive ."she says ,I rub my neck . "Well ,dad likes to spoil me ."I reply to her. I even curse myself in my head. Such a liar!yes I am. I have to even be excellent now . "Your dad is the what here ?"she asks me ans I clear my throat , "Uh well ,he is uh the owner . "I lie again. "Wait you mean that , your father is actually him ? Like Shaun Kingston?"she asks me and I awkwardly nod my head. From being my husband to my father ,I cringe internally. She gasps ,shaking my body ,"You're freaking kidding me right ?!"she says and I shake my head ."Stop shaking. "I say and she stops ,"Wow , you're even more calm and collected than I imagined. How is he ? Is he a fun dad ? Boring dad ? Single dad that dotes on hia daughter or ?-"
"He's a scum father that only sent me to a boarding school when I was ten so I never really spent time with him until now for ever weekend and holiday ,any questions?"I say it all in one go my pathetic lie and her eyes turn pitiful . "Really ?"she asks me and I sigh. Lets maks this believable shall we, the body guards keep on unpacking things I bought .
We make eye contact and they clear thier throats. "She feels uncomfortable talking about her father like that. " one of them says she nods her head and her phone rings shs excuses herself to take it . I sigh in relief, alone with the guards in my room now , the one with blonde haid and brown like eyes chuckles ."You really hate the man you married huh ?"he asks me ,"And your name is ?"I ask him with my brows raised. "Dante , your new best college friend and this one is Marcus ."he introduces himself while rubbing Marcus head like he's a dog. I can see clear irritation from Marcus, "I'm guessing you already have a task here as my assigned body guards right ? You guys give off gay romantic vibes. "I say,"Oh hell no ."Marcus finally speaks up .
"I'm his adopted younger brother who just so happens to end up in the wrong places cause of his stupidity. And that is our undercover story ."he says punching Dante who just sucks in some air ,clutching his stomach. I giggle their very fun to be around with maybe I can turn them against Shaun. They leave and my roommates only shouts she's leaving after they left something came up about some chemicals mixed in the lab .
Happy that I have the house to myself ,I end up dozing off on the fluffy soft bed. "You have to protect me ." Celeste voice echoes in my head ," What ? I can't hear you ,Celeste ? Celeste ?"I scream into the phone and jolt up from my sleep ,sweat coating my forehead .
That was three days before her death,sitting with my knees up to my head , I run my fingers through my hair. How am I going to defeat him with his own things? I need to avenge her. But I cant with so much going on,I'm his wife and fuck this is crazy. I finally get up from the bed and head to the kitchen to drink water , my phone buzzes eith messages from him. "Say wear , darling. All your problems will go away ."I read it out loud. Confused ,what does that mean ?another message, "I hope you love your new room."
"Say swear to what ?"sends message .
"All your problems ."I read his message and run fingers through my hair, annoyed .
"Turn around ."I read his messags and I see him standing on my balcony leaning on the railings . How did he ? What ? He calls me ,I answer ," Nice view. Why haven't you changed yet?"he asks me and I gasp .
"Speak."his voice gets even more demanding and I stutter. "What do you want me to say ?"I speak softly, he gets inside my room, I freeze on the spot. "Your room is nice and easy access ."he says ,dropping the phone ,each stride he takes towards me is scary and the room is filled with fear . I feel my hair on my neck stand, towering over me we look into each others eyes and I drop my phone. " You look prettier when scared ."he says and my breath hitches.
