After quite a while of searching Ishida finally finds Rumi hiding in a cottage though she seemed to be able to stand on her own. After their reconciliation Rumi tells Ishida that the Shogunate 9 officer will arrive in Springtown by sundown.
In what seems to be a classy and expensive oval office 2 figures stand chatting.
"So Nagama has started the games eh? Bout time he's a bit late this year though isn't he?" One of the figures says.
"Oh hush your damn mouth Mori. I can't be bothered to go here. I'd rather continue my search to find that bastard Loki." The other figure says.
"Oh shut up Jagger. You and this search for Loki. He'll show up here eventually. It's a part of his duties. And why are you so obsessed with him anyways? Still upset about the scar he gave you?" The figure named Mori says snickering.
"Yes I am. No one has ever cut me. And even if they have, I've never been scared enough for it to show." The figure named Jagger says walking out of the shadows reveals a massive deep scar that covers the right side of his face that goes down to his neck.
"Anyways let's get this over with. Maybe they'll be some strong people there for me to fight." Jagger groans as he walks out the office and Mori simply follows.
"THERE WHAT?!" Ishida yells.
"Yes I had the same exact reaction when they told me." Rumi says.
"You're not kidding. Members of the Shogunate 9 are coming here. God if that is true we're all doomed. We can't fight them! The Shogunate have appointed them the officer seat based on strength. Only 1 in every 20,000 villages even get that kinda opportunity. Let alone make it!" Ishida says.
"Yeah yeah I know that's why I've been sitting out here." Rumi says.
That won't solve anything if Nagama's plan works. This entire area is definitely gonna get scouted by those officers. Dammit we're caught hook line and sinker." Ishida growls, kicking a table in half.
"Maybe but I have a plan." Rumi says smiling.
"A plan? And how is that gonna help in such a dire situation like this?" Ishida says confused.
"It's simple. You found me right? All we have to do is find Ajax and before sundown and escape." Rumi says.
Ishida sits in thought for a couple of seconds before continuing.
"So that's the grand plan." Ishida says.
"Yeah that's all I could come up with." Rumi slumps.
"I think it's our best shot. The problem is I haven't seen or heard a sign from Ajax or Ryizen. And knowing those two there's a good chance they've gotten in some type of trouble." Ishida says inspecting a cabinet.
"Hey I just got an even better plan. And it doesn't even involve me having to tell Ryizen and Ajax!" Rumi says suddenly full of energy.
Ishida stops what he's doing immediately.
"And you sure this could work? I mean that sounds hella risky. I mean are you even sure Ajax could pull that off. He is quite the idiot." Ishida says chewing on his gum as he rummages through his bag realizing he's out.
"Yeah I'm sure it'll work. I've already put all my faith in Ajax anyways. Ajax just has to defeat Nagama, ending the games. And well for his lackeys it seems to be Jwiler but you saw someone else with Nagama as he explained the rules right? So you and Ryizen take them out or well keep them away from Nagama and then when Ajax wins we escape!" Rumi says cheerfully.
"It's a good plan. With a low success rate. However there are flaws. What if Ajax and Ryizen are dead already and it's just us? You're playing a huge risk game here." Ishida says.
"Then we'll just have to go all in." Rumi says determined.
Ishida just sighs and stands up.
"Master Eans- I mean old man Eans said be nice to women and be a gentleman." Ishida mumbles.
"Fuck it let's do it. We're already in a battle Royal Death Match. Let's get wild!" Ishida says kicking down the front door.
"Hey moron I'm hiding in here!" Rumi says smacking Ishida on the head.
"So much for going "all in"." Ishida grumbles.
Ishida suddenly remembers something.
"Oh hey, earlier that thing with your voice that didn't sound like you, how'd you do that?" He questions.
Rumi snickers a bit.
"Oh that? Well call it a thief's ability. Whenever you get caught but they can't see you you can just impersonate someone else and it increases your chance of not getting immediately outted." She says, chuckling.
"Didn't even know you were a thief." Ishida mumbles.
"I don't even know much about any of you guys. Sometimes it makes me not even know much about myself." Ishida says out loud this time.
"What are you talking about Ishida?" Rumi says catching up to him.
"Oh sorry didn't think I said that out loud. But I've just been confused about myself recently. I mean besides knowing Ajax because of his name spreading throughout the city I've never seen you or Ryizen before. It makes me feel like I'm not a real part of this Kabukimono." Ishida says looking down at the ground.
"Ishida you don't have to-" Rumi begins to say before suddenly too figures stand in their path.
"Oh shit if things couldn't get any more worse today." Ishida says, his eyes widening.
"You're kidding, what are the odds that….that." Rumi says, shaking.
"That Nagama would appear here!" They both think.
"Oh how splendid it's the remainder of Ajax Nozami's Kabukimono. How sweet." Nagama says, chuckling a bit.
"Hey you listen here this game is your fault so if you touch her I'll kill you and end this game here and now!" Ishida says, stepping in front of Rumi.
"If mister Nagama wants you dead then there's no way you'll escape. Your leader found that out the hard way." Poka says.
"Hey easy now Poka. We were just passing through. I have no reason to kill these two besides the remaining players will kill these two without me needing to draw my sword." Nagama says, continuing his walk.
"What did you just say!?" Ishida yells before charging at Nagama kicking at him only for Nagama to catch it on his forearm holding Ishida back.
"You heard me butler. Your leader Ajax Nozami. I've already killed him." Nagama says grinning looking Ishida in his eye as Ishida grits his teeth.
"No way. You mean. Ajax is dead?!" Rumi says practically trembling to the bone and backing away.
"No Ajax he. He can't be dead." She repeats to herself.
