As Aiden watched the TV for 4 hours his mind started to wonder elsewhere. He is wondering how did things turn out this way. Was it because of the death of their mother that their sister left them.
No everything was caused by their constitutions they had from birth, if they weren't born with it, they would had been happily enjoying life with their older sister by now and they wouldn't be constantly trying to stay awake like like new born children still trying to develop their bodies.
Looking at his sister who was happily watching the TV he couldn't help but frown some more. "Atleast if it could had picked only me things would had been much better but why mix her in it."
He couldn't help but curse, if it could had been him he wouldn't mind having energy of that of a new born it's better than seeing his sister suffer the same fate as him. Sighing.
"But alas, I can't change anything I don't have power to change our destiny." He let his thoughts slip and the words he spoke were met with strange gazes from the two women, next to him. Looking at their judging gazes he couldn't help but blush a little.
"Hey Mell, is your brother always shows emotions when he has emotions or...." Britney couldn't help but ask after all everytime they spoke with Aiden during normal days when he has no energy, Aiden barely well technically not barely never showed emotions at all.
Maybe he was to depressed about having no energy that he never got to show his emotions.
"Ohh you mean him? Well ofcourse he he gets emotional and talkative in this state if I had to tell you which one I prefer then my answer is that I choose him having energy than that gloomy emotionless hunk of a man." Mellisa said as she crushed down a huge boat on his brother's already embarrassed state making him more embarrassed.
"I'm not emotional. And for the record I kinda like my emotionless personality it's better than being happy and talkative all day." Aiden said without shame as he tongue slipped again.
"Seriously though Aiden it's not like your personality is bad it kinda needs improvement. Having both personalities is good than bad." Mellisa said before looking at him a mischievous glint showing in her eyes.
"But I kinda like my talkative brother more and when he let's his thoughts slip making him blush is the best." She said before licking her lips with her tiny mouth before she giggled as he blushed more.
"Hey I...think that's enough let's watch the TV." Aiden said as he looked at the TV with renewed vigor as he said whispering.
"And as for the record I'm not embarrassed." But that only received a laughter from his sister as Britney was instantly isolated by the two siblings as they enjoyed their life.
"Ahh sorry Brie, my little sister can get like that sometimes don't take what she said about me seriously." Aiden realizing that they had isolated Britney immediately apologized though he gave the blame to someone else.
Britney just smiled kindly as he looked at the girl with black hair and her sibling but just laughed it off.
"Don't worry after all it must not be everytime you guys have this much energy ri.... " Britneys' words were instantly cut short as a loud knock impossible to ignore before a shout came from outside sounding terrified.
"PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR!" The voice was feminine sounding like a female though the voice sounded terrified, and Aiden as the Man of the house sighed and picked up a broom stick as if it could do something and went to the door.
"Hey big brother are you sure.... you should open that door." Mellisa as she looked at his older brother like he was stupid I mean technically he is.
After all who in their right mind would open a door at night in this town when someone sounds scared I mean that's stupid. Why open the door and the person from the other side turnout to be a murderer after all murders always play tye victim in order to kill the strongest person.
After all in this world the one brave enough to look at something like this is someone who is strong and has a strong will. So playing the victim is an effective way to eliminate a strong threat.
"I know it's stupid." He said but kept walking towards the loud knock before turning his head to his sister with a smile on his face.
"But you never know what may happen in the future. After all the person you help today could be the person who could help you in the future." He said opening the door and a terrified body instantly entered and locked the door behind her as tears and streaks of blood covered her body.
Looking at the shoulder lengthen black haired girl who curled her self near the door Aiden couldn't help but shake his head, usually someone terrified should hide behind someone but why is she curling herself up like a frightened kitten. He shook his head and opened his mouth to talk.
"Hey.... you alright?" He asked concern showing in his face as he crouched infront of her and put one knee down and looked at the girl.
When the girl head him she immediately tensed and slowly she raised her head and looked at Aiden with teary black eyes the girl's face looked cute and looking at it close she seemed to be the exact age as his little sister Mellisa.
"F-fine? Do I look fine to you?" She said it like a question as she looked at the boy infront of her like his was an idiot, I mean she is basically covered in blood and someone is asking if she is fine she doesn't know whether to laugh or not.
The boy had a handsome face with black hair and black eyes though the bangs under his eyes showed tiredness. She sighed before shaking her head and thanked inside that atleast he opened the door for her.
"I guess I'm fine.... well as fine as I will ever be anyway." She said as she smiled bitterly.
Mellisa and Britney now got up from their sofa and went near the girl infront of them.
"Hey I know it's weird to ask but what happened?" Mellisa said as she crouched down near the girl and looked at her straight through her teary eyes.
Aiden seeing the girl still crying just sighed and patted his little sister on the shoulder and said.
"She looks afraid to talk you should give her some air." He said before saying again.
"Do we have coffee here or tea." He asked though the chances were slim due to them drinking it constantly to the point it became a hobby so chances of it still being available is low.
"Let me check real quick." Mellisa said as she ran towards the kitchen cabinets and looked and brought out a bag of tea leaves and warmed some water as Aiden and Britney took the girl to the sofa so she can relax.
