The black mist covered women slowly approached Mellisa before she bent down and picked her unconscious form from the ground with one hand with out a bit of struggle as if the person she held in her left hand weighed nothing at all.
After she picked Mellisa up by her neck not choking her, she examined her body before an eerie smile formed on the mist before it turned its head, but it didn't look at Aiden instead it looked at the huge eye hovering just above them before looking at the numerous kinds of creatures behind her before a those golden eyes frowned before it released a heavy sigh.
"Seriously. You useless things are still here," The mist said almost flabbergasted before it shook its head and its golden eyes narrowed dangerously before speaking in a cold frightening voice the made the people hearing it shiver from fear and Aiden included.
"I don't remember telling you to stop hunting, I remember my orders were pretty easy to comprehend even for unintelligent creatures such as you to understand and I specifically ordered you to hunt down and devour any weak souls to increase your strength and turn the strong souls to our kind.
So why do I still see you here waiting like dogs with no where to go." As soon as those words escaped her mouth every monster in the surrounding area immediately dispersed but some of them even looked at Aiden and his sister not out of pity but out of pure hunger.
Because if what the mist covered lady said is true then devouring these two souls would allow them to evolve into a higher being, but since their leader wants them for herself they could only look at them with contempt before rushing out of the alleyway.
"Now then my dear little souls let's see how long it will take before to turn you to one of my children." She said and her eyes showed joyed a stuck contrast to the bone chilling tone she used seconds ago.
As the words registered inside Aidens head his vision began to blur between consciousness and unconsciousness due to blood loss. He could only stir at the women and listen to her words being powerless to do anything.
Now he truly understood the powerlessness of the animals that humans usually killed in order to eat meat.
Those animals were innocent and didn't trouble them much but we humans killed and ate them everyday because they were more tasty to eat, and now today he was truly made to understand the powerlessness of those sheep's and goats they always butchered to eat and now it was his turn to watch as his sister being killed right infront of him without having anything to resist.
"Atleast she will leave this world without feeling any pain." Aiden said to himself but what he didn't know is the fact that the mist covered women infront of him never said anything about killing them he only assumed that was a fact, and due to him being half conscious he couldn't fully hear what's the women was saying leading him to the fact that they were gonna be killed.
"Well time to get to work." The women said before a pink tongue showed up from the mist and picked part of it and if one where to look closely the mist covering her only grew denser with each passing second and through that density most most of her figure was finally showing but it only showed her figure nothing more nothing less.
Then small black tentacle like things formed beneath her black battle boots before they pierced both Aiden and Mellisa through the heart before it pulled, out a round orb from each of them both of them radiating with intensity. The one that came from Mellisas heart had a small aura surrounding it the colour of it was deep violet with gold and silver streaks.
The one that came from Aiden was pale blue with streaks of white.
"My, this is better than expected." She said her eyes shining as she slowly corrupted both souls.
"It's better than the ones I head on those other places. If I knew I'd find such a treasure in this weak realm I would h.... " Her joy was cut shot when an unknown phenomenon occurred that shook the entire realm all together before she accidentally dropped it and a small crack formed before his soul got sucked inside and pulled to an endless darkness.
Meanwhile:
When the monsters ran out of the alleyways many humans and animals were killed after another no matter how ferocious the animals were they didn't last three seconds before they were killed. Leopards, cheaters, even a lion didn't stand a chance against them.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING." A slightly oldish man voice boomed inside the police stations as it entered one of the rooms, the room was filled with many injured people some with missing Arms legs others already lost their legs with the others who lost their eyes all hugging each other inside the police station trembling some crying.
Inside one of the rooms phones continued to ring like the is no tomorrow, with each call the police answered they were faced with countless please of people wanting to be saved from monsters.
"What.... in the world is happening.... is this the end of the world." A women cried out loudly as she held her children dealy nit letting go before a huge eel like monster with black scales and huge spikes all over its back glided down building by building block by block and street by street every place it went through was followed by a loss and destruction not leaving anything alive.
One of the monsters that looked like blackwater sybstance with a human corpse on its surface entered the sea and quickly corrupted it turning the water and its natural inhabitants into corrupted monsters and the black sea where the only things that can live are the corrupted before all that water on the sea moved in different directions and washed the entire world covering it black leaving not a single species alive on the world.
The person who was responsible for it all floated above and looked down before sighing.
"What a shame I lost quite the good soul due to those idiots doing.... well they were following my orders anyway but I may have lost that one I still have this one with me." She said before a crack formed behind her and slowly walked back to it before all the creatures were also sucked inside leaving the world into a dead land where not a single creature is alive.
