"What was that all about?" My manager threw the files in his hands into the air and paced back and forth, his hands gripping his hair. "Do you know how much damage you have caused and the number of meetings I've attended in the short span of three hours? You crossed the line, Minjae!"
"I see nothing wrong in what I did. That's something a normal human being will do when they see their business partner going through a difficult time." I dug my hands into my pockets, looking at him indifferently.
"You!" His face went red, the corners of his eyes twitching tightly. He pointed his index finger at me, disbelief written all over his face.
"You almost killed his son… and you call that something a normal person would do?" he snapped. "His lawyer is coming here right now!"
My ears perked up at his words, and I faced him, my interest sharpening. "What's he here for?"
