MINJAE
Her smile stiffened as she adjusted in her chair.
She picked up the glass of water in front of her and drank from it, looking away. When she gulped everything down, she placed it back on the table.
"I heard it from the staff in GOLDEN LEXUE." She leaned forward slightly. "They talk about their artist a lot. I usually go there to get a sense of everything that's happening."
My brows pressed tightly together. "You told me something like that based on the words of a staff member?"
Her eyes darted around as if processing what I was saying before she nodded slowly. "Yeah?"
I groaned, pressing my fingers against my forehead. "Ara, why are you behaving this way? You know what— forget it."
I stood up, the chair scraping loudly behind me. She looked up, panic replacing the expression on her face.
"Where are you going?" she called.
I ignored her and walked out of the building. I took my phone out and called a taxi.
I couldn't afford to travel by public transport right now.
