Chapter 15: The First Fight — Wrath of the Rain
Dark clouds had swallowed the sky, covering the world in a heavy shadow. Rain poured endlessly, each drop striking the ground with a haunting rhythm.
Obito stood still… but his breathing was unstable.
For him, rain was not just water… it was a trigger.
Something that awakened the storm inside him.
As the rain intensified, a terrifying aura began to spread around him. The air grew heavier, the ground trembled slightly, and a dangerous glow appeared in his eyes.
Rin noticed it immediately.
"Obito… control yourself…" she said softly, her voice filled with concern.
But it was already too late.
The rain had pushed his powers out of control… and destruction was not far away.
Suddenly, a soldier guarding the palace gates stepped forward and blocked their path.
"Stop! Who are you?" he demanded harshly.
Obito slowly raised his head, that same dangerous light still flickering in his eyes.
"I… am the Crown Prince."
The soldier paused for a moment… then burst out laughing.
"You? Crown Prince? You must be joking."
His gaze shifted to Obito's sword.
It wasn't ordinary—faint blue energy shimmered around it, as if something powerful was sealed within.
"Wow… this sword looks valuable…" the soldier said greedily, reaching out to touch it.
Obito instantly stopped him.
"Don't touch it."
The soldier's expression darkened.
"You dare stop me?"
He tried to force his way forward… but then his eyes locked onto Rin.
"Or maybe… I should check her instead…"
As he reached toward Rin—
Slash!!!
A flash like lightning—
And in the next moment, his hand fell to the ground.
"AAAAAAHHH!!!"
His scream tore through the rain-filled air.
Within seconds, more soldiers rushed to the scene.
But the moment they saw Obito… their expressions changed completely.
They immediately dropped to their knees.
"Crown Prince!"
Their commander stepped forward, bowing deeply.
"We deeply apologize, Your Highness… this soldier is new. He did not recognize you."
Obito's eyes still burned with anger.
His aura grew heavier… the ground itself seemed to bend under his presence.
He stepped forward, his sword still stained with blood.
"His punishment… is death."
The injured soldier trembled in terror, barely able to breathe.
Then—
"Obito…"
Rin gently held his arm.
"I'm fine… let him go."
For a moment, time seemed to freeze.
The rain kept falling… but the fire in Obito's eyes slowly began to fade.
After a few seconds… he lowered his sword.
"Fine."
The commander let out a breath of relief.
"Thank you, Crown Prince."
He then turned to the soldier with a cold glare.
"You are lucky to be alive today."
The wounded soldier lay on the ground, shaking—now fully aware of who he had challenged.
The commander respectfully gestured forward.
"Please… come inside the palace."
Obito and Rin walked with him.
As they entered, the palace revealed its full grandeur—towering pillars, golden walls, and guards standing in perfect formation, all bowing their heads.
But even in all that glory…
Obito's aura remained.
Silent…
Yet terrifying.
Outside, the rain continued to fall—
And everyone knew…
If the Crown Prince lost control again… it wouldn't just be a fight—
it would be destruction of everything.
