I instantly felt the change. My limbs, which felt like they had been shot all over again and didn't even belong to me, felt moveable. My spine straightened, and the sudden rush of energy helped clear my mind and realise that I could now stand up straight without any support.
Its been a fucking two years since I received this system . I mean, barely over 1 year, cuz its still January, but still, I've seen progress.
My routine has changed a lot, of course. The daily quests that the system gives me is pretty similar to Sung Chinwoo's which makes me hopeful for the growth in my jawline. As a reward, I can choose between status recovery, 5 stat points or a random loot box. Additionally, there are weekly quests, monthly quests and yearly quests, which have me grind a lot more to get other rewards.
"System, status window please," One thing I've realised that it's best to be polite to the system. One time I swore at it a lot, and the next day , when I picked a random loot box, I got Tsunade's... well, we don't talk about that anymore.
Excluding some situations like that, the system is suprisingly cooperative, actually. As it told me once, 'you don't piss on my side of the fence, and we're mostly good, even if my piss might somehow leak onto your side.'
