Chapter 6: The Silver Sage and the Birth of a Demon Lord

The swamp was a graveyard of mud and iron. From the high ground, Silver Tempest watched the chaotic melee below. Beside him, Rimuru—still in his blue slime form—was coordinating the Kijin and the Goblin riders.

'Solomon,' Silver thought, his metallic surface rippling as he observed the Orc Disaster, Geld. 'Analyze the "Starved" aura. It's a chaotic mass of devouring magicules, isn't it?'

[Answer: Correct. The Unique Skill "Starved" creates a localized influence that consumes the strength of the deceased and the surrounding environment. To neutralize this, I recommend the deployment of the "Purification Barrier" synthesized via [Creation].]

"Rimuru," Silver projected through the [Family Link]. "The Orcs are gaining ground because they're literally eating their way through the battlefield. I'm going to cut off their supply line."

'Go for it, Silver! I'll handle the front lines with Benimaru!'

Silver didn't bounce; he glided. Using [Creation], he manifested a series of silver pillars that shot from the swamp floor like lightning. As they breached the surface, a shimmering, holy-attribute dome began to expand, coating the battlefield in a pale, silver light.

The Orcs, who had been driven by an endless, agonizing hunger, suddenly stopped. They blinked, their red eyes fading to a confused yellow. For the first time in weeks, they didn't want to eat.

"Now!" Silver's voice rang out. "Benimaru! Hakuro! Finish it!"

The Kijin moved like gods of war. Benimaru's [Crimson Flare]—enhanced by the weapons Silver had created—vaporized entire platoons. Hakuro was a blur of steel, his movements so fast that the Orcs' heads fell before they even realized they'd been cut.

But in the center of the madness, the Orc Lord Geld was evolving. The despair of his people, combined with the intervention of the Majin Gelmud, had pushed him over the edge.

The duel between the Tempest brothers and the Orc Disaster was a clash of fundamental concepts: Consumption vs. Creation.

Rimuru had shifted into his battle mode, using [Steel Thread] and [Black Flame]. But Geld was a mountain of meat and armor, regenerating as fast as Rimuru could damage him.

"You... cannot... stop... the hunger..." Geld wheezed, his massive cleaver swinging toward Rimuru.

Silver intervened. He didn't use a sword. He simply placed a silver "hand" on the cleaver as it descended.

"[Snatch]."

Geld's eyes widened. The wounds Rimuru had inflicted suddenly stopped closing. The Orc Lord fell to one knee, the weight of his own sins and hunger finally catching up to him.

"Rimuru," Silver said, stepping back. "He's yours. He needs to be consumed. It's the only way to release them from the curse."

Rimuru nodded. He understood. In a grand display of the [Predator] skill, Rimuru expanded, a dark blue void swallowing the Orc Lord whole. As he did, the connection between the two brothers pulsed.

'Solomon! Use [Copy] while Rimuru devours him! Capture the core essence of the Orc Lord's evolution!'

Silver felt a surge of cold, dark energy settle into his core. He didn't know what a "Demon Lord Seed" was—after all, he didn't know the plot of this world—but he could tell it was a massive catalyst for power.

With the war over and the Orcs surrendered, the brothers returned to the village. But they weren't alone. They carried the heavy burden of Shizue Izawa's legacy. Rimuru had devoured her at her request, gaining her form.

As they reached the village center, Rimuru began to transform. His blue slime body swirled and grew, taking the shape of a beautiful, silver-haired girl with golden eyes—a perfect recreation of Shizue, but younger.

Silver watched, then turned to Wisdom King Solomon. 'Can I do that? I have her data through the [Family Link] and my own [Copy] of Rimuru.'

[Answer: Affirmative. Using the physical template of Individual Rimuru and your own silver-magicule composition, a human form is possible.]

"Alright," Silver muttered. "Let's see what I look like."

Silver's body didn't swirl; it flowed like liquid mercury. He grew taller, his form mirroring Rimuru's exactly, but with striking differences. Where Rimuru's hair was a soft blue-silver, Silver's was a brilliant, metallic white-chrome that caught the light like a diamond. His eyes weren't gold, but a piercing, icy silver. He wore a simple, serious expression that matched his personality.

"Whoa," Rimuru said, looking at his twin. "It's like looking in a mirror, but... cooler? Literally, you look like you're made of moonlight."

"It's more practical for wearing clothes," Silver said, testing his new vocal cords. His voice was slightly deeper than Rimuru's, more resonant.

The Kijin and Goblins stood in stunned silence. Their leaders were no longer "just" slimes; they were transcendent beings who looked like the very heroes of legend.

That evening, a grand meeting was held. The Dryad Treyni, the Lizardman Chieftain, and the representatives of the Orcs (now led by the son of the former Orc Lord, whom Rimuru named Geld) gathered before the brothers.

"We have decided," the Chieftain said, bowing low. "The Jura Forest needs a leader. No—it needs a foundation. We propose the Jura Tempest Federation, led by the Great Slime Brothers."

Rimuru looked at Silver. 'A Federation? That sounds like a lot of paperwork, Silver.'

Silver looked at the gathered monsters. He saw the potential for a nation that could dwarf anything back on Earth. He didn't know about the future wars, the Western Holy Church, or the other Demon Lords, but his [Creation] skill was itching to build something permanent.

"We accept," Silver said, his silver eyes scanning the crowd. "But understand this: we are not just your protectors. We are your architects. We will build a city that the world cannot ignore."

'Solomon,' Silver thought as the monsters cheered. 'Start the blueprints for a capital city. I want running water, paved roads, and a defense system that can stop a god.'

[Acknowledged. Integrating the [Demon Lord Seed] into the city's ley-line foundation via [Creation]. The birth of the capital, "Tempest," has officially begun.]

Silver stood beside his twin, his silver hair flowing in the wind. He was the serious shield to Rimuru's bright heart. He still thought he was just surviving a weird manga world he didn't understand, but as the Demon Lord Seed hummed in his chest, the "Voice of the World" began to take notice of the Silver Tempest.
