Haru and Mito stood facing each other in an open clearing.
Far away, scattered across dozens of trees, several people stood on each one, looking down as they watched the battle between Haru and Mito.

Cold sweat ran down Takuya's forehead as he shouted his thanks, jumping from branch to branch without slowing at all. Earlier, Inabi had given him a subtle warning and told him to stand farther away for the sake of the alliance between the Uchiha and the Hyuga.
Then the moment Inabi sensed danger, he let out a howl of "Run!" and took off at full speed.
Takuya had not even hesitated before following him.
The heads of the other clans had not realized what was happening until the Tailed Beast Bomb was already flying at them.
