After the Riverfang Tribe finished their lunch, Kael asked Castor to help him pass a message to Ulric.
As expected, he had asked for a meeting.
Ulric agreed to his request under the condition that the Chieftain of the Riverfang Tribe come alone. Kael readily agreed.
When Kael arrived at the cave, Ulric brought him to one of the small clearings Maximus dug, which they had converted into a reception area.
Leone was already there, waiting for their arrival. The young man wore wolf pelt clothes, a wolf cap, and a mask to hide his face.
His clothes were a little shabby, but it was still better than joining the meeting wearing his noble clothes.
He intended to hide his identity until Kael became his vassal. Also, he couldn't risk the scouts of the different tribes discovering him at this point in time.
"Please sit," Ulric said to Kael before sitting crosslegged beside Leone.
