Rhett, Perona, and Laboon were feasting and drinking in the dining hall.
Tesoro spoke with a playful tone: "It seems our 'gift' has caused quite a headache for the Marines and the World Government."
Rhett chuckled softly, his gaze sweeping over the newspaper on the table—"Marine Admiral Kizaru Severely Injured and Resting, Punk Hazard Research Institute Relocates Due to 'Experimental Accident'."
"Sengoku didn't disappoint me, after all. The justice that reigns supreme can't possibly be timid," he said, tilting his head back to finish his drink. "With the Marines and the World Government at odds, our opportunity... has only just begun."
"Tesoro, where do you think Morgans has run off to?" Rhett leaned back in his chair, asking Tesoro.
"Many are looking for Morgans, not just us. It's normal that he can't be found. If he were easily found, he'd probably be dead by now."
"That makes sense."
Rhett pondered the six most notorious figures in the Pirate King's underworld.
The Loan Shark King, Du Feld, a loan shark who performed quite ordinarily in the original plot. Rhett would deal with him based on his mood.
Stussy, the queen of the entertainment world's pleasure district, was actually a high-ranking agent of the World Government, CP0.
Rhett couldn't move against her just yet. He had just negotiated with the Gorosei; turning around and removing their pawn wouldn't yield suitable benefits. He just needed a reason.
Rhett set his sights on the Shipping King, Umit. This old guy was quite formidable. He had a hand in the early construction of Whole Cake Island and even participated in transporting the Celestial Dragons' food.
Rhett stood up and looked at Tesoro: "Tesoro, bring Enel along. He's been complaining about missing out on the last fight. Let's 'visit' this Shipping King."
Rhett grinned, "Remember, I'm not looking for cooperation—I want a takeover. He's not qualified to cooperate with me."
At the massive cargo port, dozens of merchant ships were docked, with workers busily loading and unloading goods. In the top-floor office of the tower, Umit was reviewing his ledger with a cigar in his mouth.
Suddenly, a flash of golden light appeared outside the window.
"Boom—!"
The entire floor-to-ceiling window shattered, and a wave of gold surged into the room, instantly transforming the floor into a dazzling golden hue. Umit stood up abruptly, his cigar falling to the ground: "Tesoro?!"
The Golden Emperor walked in on the golden wave.
Behind him followed Enel, his body crackling with lightning.
"Good evening, Shipping King," Tesoro smiled. "Our captain thinks... it's time for someone else to manage your business."
Umit's face darkened as he secretly pressed the alarm button under the table, only to find it unresponsive.
Enel sneered, "Save it, old man. I've cut off the power to the entire building. Besides, most of your men are already gone. Pressing the alarm won't help."
"You Crimson Dawn are too arrogant!" Umit suddenly exploded, his suit tearing to reveal muscular arms covered in Armament Haki. "I didn't get to where I am today by—"
Boom—!!!
The entire upper structure of the shipping headquarters trembled violently under the lightning, the glass curtain walls shattering instantly.
"You talk too much. I don't want to hear it."
Umit's figure was thrown back from the dust, a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth.
"Tsk, the old guy's quite tough," Enel sat cross-legged on a floating drum of lightning. "But before a god—"
He vanished, reappearing above Umit in the next moment, his lightning-wrapped right leg descending like a battle axe!
"Golden Tempo: Divine Whip!"
Umit crossed his arms, hardening them with Armament Haki, but upon contact, he was blasted through the floor into the cargo hold below.
The entire floor collapsed. He fell into the warehouse. Hundreds of sealed cargo boxes exploded from the shockwave, scattering—
Seastone powder!
"Hahahaha..." Umit stood up from the rubble, wiping the blood from his mouth. "Didn't expect that, did you, brat? I've been shipping arms for twenty years; you think I don't have a trump card?" He grabbed a handful of powder and threw it into the air, the specially treated particles forming a dust wall that blocked the lightning.
Enel's pupils contracted; his lightning teleportation suddenly failed. Umit seized the moment, his muscles bulging and tearing his suit, revealing a body covered in scars: "The title of Shipping King—"
"Was built on the bones of pirates!"
His Armament Haki-covered fist tore through the mist. Enel hastily raised his golden staff to block, but the force of the punch sent him crashing through three layers of steel walls.
Tesoro, watching from a distance, raised an eyebrow: "Oh? This might be fun."
Deep in the ruins,
Enel pushed aside the steel beam that had fallen on him, one of his golden earrings shattered.
Suddenly, he burst into laughter: "Interesting! So interesting!" The drum of lightning behind him spun wildly.
"200 Million Volt: Thunder God—"
With a roar, Enel's body expanded rapidly, transforming into a giant made of pure lightning, dozens of meters tall. The lightning raged, illuminating the entire port as if it were daytime.
"What?!" Umit's pupils contracted sharply.
He quickly retreated, trying to create distance.
"Before a god, your struggle is meaningless." Enel's voice, in Thunder God form, was filled with barely suppressed anger. With a wave of his hand, a lightning pillar several meters in diameter descended from the sky, striking directly at Umit.
"Boom—!"
Umit barely managed to cover his entire body with Armament Haki, enduring the blow, but the immense force still sent him crashing into the ground. The earth cracked, and dust rose. He coughed up blood, his arms trembling slightly from the burns of the lightning.
"It's not over yet," Enel sneered. In Thunder God form, he lightly tapped his fingers, and countless lightning snakes emerged from the ground, surrounding Umit.
"Golden Tempo: Divine Judgment!"
The lightning snakes instantly contracted, forming a massive lightning cage. Umit was trapped inside, the high temperature making it difficult to even breathe. He gritted his teeth, trying to break through with Armament Haki, but the intensity of the lightning far exceeded his expectations.
"Damn it...!" Umit roared, throwing all his strength into a punch against the cage, only to have the lightning retaliate even more fiercely.
Enel looked down at him from above, his eyes filled with disdain: "With skills like that, you dare call yourself a king? There's only room for one king in this world, and that's our captain."
