Breaking the Limit Again
The battle intensified rapidly.
Kael pushed his movements faster, chaining Shadow Step with physical attacks while maintaining control over his Abyss Domain. Darkness spread outward, but this time it was compressed—denser, sharper, more refined.
The commander noticed immediately.
"You've improved your control," he said, blocking a strike aimed at his neck.
Kael didn't stop.
"Abyss Rift."
Space cracked open between them, forcing the commander to leap backward. The explosion tore through part of the battlefield, sending fragments of black stone flying.
Leon took advantage of the opening.
"Inferno Burst!"
A massive wave of blue fire surged forward, forcing the commander to defend from both sides.
For a brief moment—
He was pressured.
The commander slid backward, stopping near the base of the tower.
Then he smiled.
"Good."
The pressure around him suddenly increased.
His aura expanded violently, pushing back both Kael's darkness and Leon's flames.
"You've reached a level where this becomes interesting."
Kael's eyes narrowed.
The commander raised his hand.
Dark energy—different from the Abyss—
gathered around him.
"He's using another type of power," Seraphine muttered from behind.
Kael felt it too.
This wasn't Abyss magic.
It was something else.
Something… older.
The commander stepped forward again.
"This time," he said,
"I won't hold back."
