Sitting with their backs against the crystal beast's corpse, the four of them rested in silence.
It had been about an hour since they defeated the crystal beast, and they had recovered enough that they could now move.
Evangeline turned to Adrian.
"Hey, Adi, we defeated the Phase Four creature that could pose a threat to us, so now what?"
Xion nodded.
"That's right. As Miss Evangeline said, we have managed to kill the crystal beast, and according to what your eternarch had told us, there is no other being on this island that can pose a threat to us. All that's left now is to explore the island and leave after we are done. The question is, where do we start?"
Adrian looked ahead thoughtfully.
'Where to start…'
Since the island was actually a kingdom, they would have to spend a lot more time exploring it than they had initially thought.
