Chapter 4 - The Perfect Back View

Returning home and lying on his bed, Haizaki Shogo fell into deep thought.

The days ahead will be the time for my own growth… and also the period when the five members of the Generation of Miracles will bloom one after another.

I can't afford to be left behind and have the gap widen too much.

Looking at his real-time physical status panel, a smile slowly spread across Haizaki Shogo's face.

Overall, there were no major changes—except his height had increased by one centimeter, and his weight by 0.2 kilograms.

I'm fifteen and a half now, not even sixteen yet.

This is the peak period for height growth, and also the golden phase where all physical attributes improve the fastest.

I absolutely can't waste it.

With that in mind, Haizaki Shogo pulled out a schedule and began planning seriously.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays would be spent at the fencing hall—training swordsmanship to improve agility and neural reflexes. He had already signed up, and training could begin tomorrow.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays would be spent at the Sanda gym—training combat to increase strength and stamina. Registration was complete there as well, and training would start the day after tomorrow.

As for the two hours of swimming training every night before bed—meant to improve full-body balance—he could do that easily in the swimming pool at his family's villa.

And Sundays?

Naturally, Sundays were for hanging out with friends… and chasing girls.

As for basketball-specific training—there was no longer any need for it.

Haizaki Shogo had already decided to carry a basketball with him at all times, keeping it by his side throughout this period.

First, to sharpen his ball feel and completely fuse his current-life instincts with the basketball sense and awareness from his previous life. By then, I'll definitely break through to another level.

Second—practice makes perfect. He needed to reach the realm of "man and ball as one" as soon as possible. That was the foundational condition for becoming strong… for becoming a king.

With that thought, Haizaki Shogo immediately jumped out of bed, stripped off his clothes, and slipped into a tight, sexy triangular swim brief.

SPLASH!

He dove into the pool like a fish. The icy sensation from another world assaulted his entire body, giving Haizaki Shogo the illusion of being reborn.

He was already proficient in freestyle and breaststroke—extremely familiar, extremely skilled. In his previous life, he had trained in a university swimming club for nearly four years, and that sense of familiarity returned almost instantly.

Back then, his body had been weak, lacking muscle. He had learned butterfly stroke, but his physical condition simply couldn't support the power and speed it required.

But now?

Now… I should be able to try.

In an instant, the quiet swimming pool echoed with the sound of churning water as Haizaki Shogo burst through the surface again and again.

Refreshing—absolutely exhilarating!!

He hadn't expected the passion brought by butterfly stroke to completely outclass freestyle and breaststroke.

Once butterfly began, it was pure forward momentum—fierce, explosive, and perfectly suited for competition. There was no stopping once it started.

Before he knew it, two hours had passed. Haizaki Shogo got out, took a hot shower, and climbed into bed to sleep.

Since he had already completed his transfer procedures, he wouldn't need to report to his new school for another couple of days.

The next morning, Haizaki Shogo slung his basketball over his shoulder and headed straight to the fencing hall.

The one who received him was a young and beautiful female coach.

Her figure was slender and elegant, with jet-black, waist-length straight hair.

Her long legs were exceptionally eye-catching, and her movements were astonishingly agile.

It didn't take long for Haizaki Shogo to realize just how terrifying this black-haired, long-legged "onee-san" coach really was.

Dressed in full protective gear and holding a thin rapier, Haizaki Shogo felt a faint aura of ancient European knights rise within his chest—as if a knight had descended into his body.

Unfortunately, that illusion was utterly useless.

Very quickly, his shoulder blade, collarbone, heart… and all sorts of other places were "tagged" one after another by the elegant yet ruthless black-haired coach.

Haizaki Shogo was completely exhausted. His mediocre stamina became a glaring weakness, and he simply couldn't hold on any longer.

Removing his helmet, he collapsed onto the floor and said to the coach opposite him:

"Coach Miyazaki, let me rest for a bit. I've already held on for quite a while—I'm seriously exhausted."

The beautiful coach also removed her helmet. In an instant, her long hair cascaded down like a waterfall as she flicked it lightly to the side.

That scene left Haizaki Shogo staring blankly, eyes wide. Man… I really want to rush over and hug—

Coach Miyazaki shot him a glance, clearly confident in her beauty.

But her next action completely shattered his expectations. She dropped all pretense of elegance, plopped down on the floor directly across from him, and threw him an exaggerated wink.

"You're not bad, kid. Your strength and agility are impressive—just that your stamina is lacking. Honestly, you're not much stronger than a woman like me."

"Hey, hey, Coach Miyazaki—food can be eaten carelessly, love can be talked about casually, but you really shouldn't slander a man's stamina like that."

Coach Miyazaki glanced at him sideways with her narrow eyes, ignored him completely, and said seriously:

"With your talent, it's not too late to seriously learn fencing. If you persist for a few years, you might even become a world-class athlete. I recommend you join professional-level training."

"Hehehe!!! Beautiful Sister Miyazaki, I've already made it very clear—I'm learning fencing to break through my agility and neural reflex limits. I'm not here to learn how to stab people."

"Can you even stab anyone?"

"I can't stab anyone? Want to try?"

"Is there even a need to try?"

Alright—Haizaki Shogo was miserable.

It was true. During the entire training session just now, he hadn't landed a single hit on the black-haired beauty in front of him.

And so, deep within his heart, a dark obsession ignited:

I must stab you!

I must stab you!

I must stab you!

"So… everything you're doing is for basketball, then?"

"How did you know?"

"You're carrying that crappy basketball everywhere you go. Only an idiot wouldn't notice."

"Alright, fine. It really is for basketball—and to keep up with a few people's pace, so I don't get completely left behind."

Seeing Haizaki Shogo suddenly calm down, Coach Miyazaki realized he was serious. After thinking for a moment, she finally spoke:

"Since you've come to our fencing hall, then learn properly. Improve what you came here for."

"And don't think about keeping up with other people's rhythm. You need to find your own rhythm—only then can you surpass others. That's a major taboo in fencing."

"Fence your own way. Let others talk all they want."

"Alright, that's enough for today. We'll continue next time!"

With that, the black-haired, long-legged onee-san coach picked up her rapier, performed a beautiful sword flourish, and left behind a tall, refined, flawless back view for Haizaki Shogo.

Haizaki Shogo stared at the coach's retreating figure…

and drooled all over the floor.
