Sunshine, beaches, and long legs filled the scene.
After a long day of playing, the Black Bulls gathered for a seaside barbecue. Charmy summoned her Cotton Magic sheep to prepare the food.
"Finral, looks like luck isn't on your side today. You didn't manage to pick up a single girl. How about your big sister humbles herself and goes on a date with you?" Vanessa teased.
Finral's expression instantly lit up. "You're serious?"
Vanessa was far more attractive than the girls he had been chasing all day.
"Of course, as long as there's enough alcohol."
Finral's face turned green.
Drinking with her? I'd be unconscious in ten minutes.
"Little Finral, you're hesitating?"
"I agree... just not at a bar, okay?"
"Fine, I'll give you a chance."
Vanessa glanced toward Cedric.
I'm even lowering myself to date this guy, and you don't react at all? Is that barbecue really that good?
"Cedric, this meat is great. Eat more," Noelle said.
Cedric pulled her into his arms casually. "You've gotten thinner lately."
"S-stop it, everyone's watching!"
"Then are you agreeing to my idea tonight?"
Noelle froze, her face turning bright red.
This guy... he actually wants to...
"I-it's fine... tonight," she whispered.
Cedric smirked and kissed her forehead. "Good girl."
"Stop touching me, or I'll change my mind!"
Cedric raised his hands in surrender, though the grin on his face didn't fade.
"Charmy, grill some sausages and kidneys for me. Extra chili."
After eating their fill, the group prepared to head back.
"Hahaha! Black Bulls, are you running away?" Klaus appeared with Mimosa, blocking their path.
"That Four-Eyes is asking for it," Magna muttered.
"Magna, let's use that combo move!" Luck grinned.
Absolutely not. I am not spinning like a top again.
"Four-Eyes, I'll take you one-on-one," Magna cracked his knuckles.
"Vulgar. This is a beach. Let's settle this with beach volleyball. The losers get their faces drawn on."
"That's boring," Vanessa yawned, lifting Charmy. "We're going back."
"Not a fight? Then I'm out too," Magna said.
Soon, only Asta, Grey, Cedric, and Noelle remained.
"Asta, you handle this. Noelle and I need to conserve energy," Cedric said casually.

Noelle punched his chest lightly.
"Alright, Four-Eyes, how do we play?" Asta asked.
"My name is Klaus! It's 2v2, first to 15 points."
"I don't get it."
"You've never played volleyball?!"
"What's volleyball? Can you eat it?"
After over an hour of explaining, it was already dark.
"My head hurts, but I'm ready!" Asta declared.
Klaus nearly snapped.
"Senior Klaus, it's late. Let's go back," Mimosa said, rubbing her eyes.
She glanced at Asta again.
He's kind of cute... loud, but honest.
Why does my heart feel weird?
"I'll remember this, Asta. Tomorrow, I'll show you my strength," Klaus declared.
Yuno stood silently.
Maybe I should challenge Asta too.
Meanwhile, Cedric led Noelle toward the rocky shore.
"Cedric... won't someone see us?" Noelle asked nervously.
"It's fine. Just keep your voice down."
Not far away, Kahono had come to practice singing as usual.
But strange sounds caught her attention.
Curious, she quietly approached the rocks.
Under the moonlight, she saw Cedric and Noelle together, far closer than she expected.
Her face instantly flushed.
"T-this is so embarrassing..."
She tried to leave, but—
"Who's there?" Cedric's voice cut through the silence.
"Ah! I didn't mean to!" Kahono panicked.
Cedric turned and saw her sitting there, flustered.
Even he felt a bit awkward.
First time doing this outside, and there's already an audience?
Noelle pinched his waist hard. "This is your fault!"
Cedric winced slightly.
"Miss, if you don't explain, things might get troublesome."
Kahono trembled.
"I didn't see anything! Please don't come closer!"
She grabbed stones and threw them at him, completely forgetting she was a mage.
"Do I really look that scary?" Cedric said, amused.
"I won't tell anyone! Please let me go! I still have dreams, I want to become a famous songstress!"
Cedric studied her for a moment, then smirked.
"Relax. I'm not that unreasonable."
He lightly tapped her shoulder, leaving a small mark.
"You can go."
Kahono didn't hesitate. She ran as fast as she could.
The beach is dangerous. I'm never coming alone again!
"You're just letting her go?" Noelle asked.
"What else should I do?" Cedric shrugged. "Bring her back with us?"
"You're terrible."
Cedric grinned. "You haven't even seen the worst of it yet."
Noelle's face turned red again.
Early morning arrived.
Noelle leaned against Cedric, exhausted, watching the sunrise.
"I'm so tired... I want to go back."
Cedric chuckled softly. "Still want to train more?"
"You bastard, I can barely move. Carry me back, my knight."
"Of course."
He lifted her effortlessly and walked along the beach.
Behind them, their footprints slowly disappeared under the waves.
