Chapter 2 - The Secret Beneath Skyhaven

Chapter 6: The Secret Beneath Skyhaven

The night sky above Skyhaven Academy was unusually silent.

Liora stood on the balcony of the academy dormitory, staring at the floating islands drifting slowly across the dark horizon. The wind carried whispers of something ancient… something hidden beneath the city.

She could feel it.

The strange energy again.

"Liora?"

Kael's voice broke her thoughts. He walked toward her with a serious expression.

"You feel it too, don't you?" he asked.

Liora nodded slowly.

"Yes… it's like the entire academy is alive."

Just then, Mina rushed toward them, slightly out of breath.

"I found something!" she whispered excitedly.

"What is it?" Kael asked.

Mina unfolded an old map she had taken from the academy library.

"This map shows underground chambers beneath Skyhaven Academy… places that students are not allowed to enter."

Liora leaned closer to the map.

At the center of it was a strange symbol — glowing faintly.

Suddenly her hands began to glow again.

The same energy.

"It's reacting to me…" she whispered.

Kael looked around carefully.

"If Nemor knows about this place, we may already be too late."

Mina pointed to a hidden entrance marked on the map.

"It's beneath the old training hall."

Liora took a deep breath.

"Then that's where we go."

The three friends quietly left the dormitory and made their way across the silent academy grounds.

The moonlight illuminated the empty training arena.

Kael moved a large stone tile on the floor.

Underneath it…

A staircase leading into darkness.

Cold air rushed upward.

Mina shivered.

"This place hasn't been opened in years."

Liora stepped forward first.

"I think it's been waiting for us."

As they descended the ancient stairs, glowing symbols began lighting up along the walls.

The deeper they went, the stronger Liora's power became.

Suddenly—

A deep voice echoed through the chamber.

"So… you finally found it."

The three friends froze.

A shadow appeared in the darkness.

It was Nemor.

But this time…

He wasn't alone.

Behind him stood a massive ancient machine glowing with life energy.

And it was awakening.

Liora's eyes widened.

"What… is that?"

Nemor smiled slightly.

"The true heart of Skyhaven."
