Waking up the next morning,she laid on the bed for some time not really wanting to get up.
Few minutes later she gets up,goes to the kitchen to do her chores only to discover the dishes had been washed. She went over to ask her siblings but got the silent treatment again. Her family had been treating her strange and even till this morning they hadn't stopped.
Jessica later went to her room to rest then went to greet her parents.
"Mom good morning "She greeted her mom as she entered the house then did likewise to her father. Her mom completely ignored her only her dad grunted something in reply.
"Sarah come and take my bag." She called out to one of her sisters,the second born to be precise.
"And bring water for me to drink"Her mom said referring to her sister again.
Sarah brought the water and as she was about going her mon asked.
"Where is Kimberly? "
That was Jessica youngest sister also the last child,All this time jessica stood completely confused.

"Doesn't she know her parents are back?"
"Oh... I think she went to get something from the mall"
"By herself? "
"Yeah"
"And why didn't you help her?" Her mon asked facing her(Jessica).
Jessica looked at them and smiled lightly.

"Help her do what?"Jessica asked her mom.
" "𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕡 𝕙𝕖𝕣 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥?" " Her mom rephrased.
"You are seriously asking me that?"
"Yeah,everyone literally ignored me since i arrived home yesterday.....Now i should you help Kimberly buy something?
.....When clearly am no aware neither would she have told me that she wants to buy something"
When she was done speaking her mom,father and sarah all turned to look at her.Then her mom asked "Where did you go yesterday?"
"I went to Katie's house?"Jessica repiled bodly to hide the fact that she was lying.
"Katie's? "Her mom asked confused.
Jessica sighed 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚
"Katrina's house"
Her mom smiled,"Really?,Katrina's house"
She nods then says "Well we asked yesterday and she have not seen you seen".
That word hit her hard she hadn't actually thought of a plan.

Her mom caught her off mid - sentence.
"Most importantly,where did you actually go to that you forgot to do what you were supposed to do?".
Just then a thought flashed her head she had totally fotgot.

𝑨𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝒃𝒊𝒈 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆,𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.
So basically Jessica's family are devoted Christians. Jessica dad who was a minister in the church was doing a two weeks dry fasting. And that day being monday she had to give him food early.
Ignoring her duty or rather forgetting what she was supposed to do she hurriedly went out of the house to meet up with alex and she hadn't even rembered up till this moment.
"You haven't answered the question or are you looking for another lie to tell me?,huh?"Her mom asked redrawing her from her thoughts.
"Oh.... Well i actually forgot am so sorry"She repiled she knew her mom will not let this issue rest.
"They has to be a reason " Her father said he hadn't talked since he entered the house.
After some moments of denying accusations and saying they was no particular reason. She did the unthinkable, she accused alex of something he didn't do and wasn't capable of doing.
Her parents decided to learn the truth themselves by searching for him since he claimed to be in that neighborhood.
