hours pass, days , weeks, months, and years, the peace was much appreciated by DON, but not for the other races, as time passes , the stronger their mysterious guest becomes.
with various outings for DON comes with benefits , although not like those times when he engages in life and death battles with the other higher beings. But still he went on with his adventure, he even acquired few skills in the process , such as LIFE DETECTION skill which allowed him to escape the eyes of those races looking for him, another was PLANT LIFE skill being able to control plant life and even their growth, and knowledge of plant life in the CAVE RASS .
DON fought few battles here and there ad made some progress, the long period of peace allowed his body to grow properly, he now process growth built of teen earthly child. there were time he intrude into dangerous dwellings of more than dozens of special elemental creatures although not with very high ranks.
but it carries it own risks and also benefits , few skirmish here and there more than once he even took few of them, earning several skills, at the basic level.
There were some he lost and always manages to escape but not leaving words like '' you won this round but I will be back.''
After each successful he his always reminded of how this world was no longer the old world he left behind, this is a world that is based on this rule, the survival of the fittest , this was not the the world for the weak heart frail individuals but for those with strong will to survive, there was no time or space for slacking, any fatal mistake will cost you dearly.
there were time he will winced in pain all night from serious injuries taken from battles where he would show contempt or his opponents, while underestimating them completely causing him some grievances.
One of biggest event or consolation from all this experience was that he manage to acquire an ability without killing anyone , one certain time while he was chasing after small black creature, the being has the appearance of a rabbit , but with horn on top of it face, and extremely fast, he suffered defeat so many times, trying to to out pace it to capture, even went as far as setting traps and still came out losing.
after several defeats he would go challenge other creatures and come back after increasing his strength, but he eventually succeeded using the soft approach, he used grilled meats to win it over that was after acquiring the FIRE ELEMENTS skill. although his culinary arts were lacking several practices helped to remedy that.
The discovery came as a shock, a surprise that he never thought was possible , '' so skills could be learned too'' after naming him JACK, he began to envision other possibilities, such swordsmanship, like those in manhua he used to read back then on EARTH.
After applying the basic elements kills he was able to mould a sword, just right for his practice , after applying the darkness element he was able improve the sharpness of the sword.
