I looked toward the door of my house and saw that my father could move now, followed by everyone else including my sisters, my mother, and Jake's parents.

"What the hell is happening?" My father said, and looked around.

"Darling, calm down. We don't know what is going on here."

I let out a sigh of relief, and then turned to look at the others.

And suddenly, a green flash of light crossed me from behind and a loud explosion occurred.
