Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: This Woman Is Definitely Doing This On

Chapter 60: This Woman Is Definitely Doing This On Purpose!

Ichiraku Ramen Shop.

Jonin Ninja Anko sat at the counter, legs spread wide, with two faint dark circles under her eyes.

"Haruko! I want to move in!"

Haruko didn't even lift his eyelids when he heard this: "If you want to move, find a moving company. Why are you coming to me? I only sell ramen here, I don't do odd jobs."

"Stop playing dumb!" Anko gritted her teeth, leaned in close to Haruko, "Ever since I came back from that mission, I haven't been able to sleep well at night without you!"

"Hiss..."

The few customers in the shop instantly pricked up their ears, their eyes darting back and forth between the two.

'This woman is definitely doing this on purpose!"

Haruko felt the gossiping gazes from the other customers and sighed helplessly: "Teacher Anko, please be precise with your words. You can't live without the suppression of Natural Energy, not without me. Besides, didn't I teach you how to suppress it? Forgot already?"

"It means the same thing!" Anko grabbed her hair in frustration, "Anyway, I plan to move into that detached house of yours! You have plenty of rooms anyway, one more won't hurt!"

"Oh my, isn't this Jonin Ninja Anko?"

Feng walked over, smiling as she looked Anko up and down. Her voice was cloyingly sweet, yet it made Anko's body instinctively tense up.

"You are... from that Kaguya Clan?" Anko narrowed her eyes. Her beast-like intuition made her sense a threat from the other person that didn't stem from raw strength, "You live there too?"

"That's right. Teacher Anko wants to move in? That's a bit tricky, after all, there are only a few of us 'family members' at home." Feng reached out to straighten Haruko's collar, like a mistress asserting her dominance.

Anko frowned, a nameless fire rising in her heart, especially when seeing Feng's "main wife" act.

"I am Haruko's supervising Jonin. Protecting my subordinates is also my duty. And—" Anko puffed out her chest, not backing down, "I have the intimacy of'sleeping in the same bed' with Haruko. In terms of relationship, I'm not worse than you, am I?"

"Oh—"

The diners in the shop stopped eating their ramen—this was a huge piece of gossip they could get full on.

'This woman is definitely doing this on purpose!"

Haruko rubbed his temples, as if he could already see the scene where the news spread to everyone.

Teuchi patted Haruko on the shoulder and gave a thumbs up: "Haruko, you've grown up. I'm proud of you."

"Old man... we don't have that kind of relationship."

"It's okay, Haruko, I understand. As long as you are sincere, it doesn't matter how many there are in the end. I support you."

'You don't understand anything!"

Kin, who had been silently watching this side, clenched her fists, while Tayuya nodded in an "as expected of Big Brother" attitude.

On the other side, just as Anko thought Feng would explode or flip out, Feng's reaction turned strange.

She wasn't angry; instead... she seemed even more satisfied?

Feng's gaze swept over Anko's firm thighs and waist, lingered on her chest for a moment, and then leaned into Haruko's ear:

"I think it's doable. Although she's a bit hot-tempered, her physical fitness is top-notch... Why don't you take her in?"

"???" Feng's sudden matchmaking left Haruko dumbfounded.

Anko didn't hear the specific content, but seeing Feng's suddenly enthusiastic smiling face, she just felt her scalp tingle.

"Um... what are you smiling at?"

"Nothing, just thinking that if Teacher Anko is willing to join our big family, it would be a wonderful thing."

"Huh???"

Feng smiled like a flower and proactively poured a glass of water for Anko: "Jonin Ninja Anko, from now on, we are sisters."

"Who... who is your sister!" Anko couldn't help but step back, her old face blushing, "I'm just trying to suppress..."

"Enough!" Haruko interrupted this increasingly outrageous conversation.

He glanced at the expectant Feng, then at the evasive yet still lingering Anko.

"Teacher Anko, moving in is out of the question. That's considered the staff dormitory for our Ichiraku Ramen. Unless you plan to work here?"

"...Not really..."

"Then it won't work. Aside from the fact that we don't plan to hire anyone, the Village wouldn't agree to a Special Jonin spending all day at a Ramen Shop instead of going on missions."

"Stingy!"

Anko slammed the table in anger, but she knew Haruko was telling the truth.

In the end, she didn't really plan to move in... well, maybe she wanted to a little bit.

Feng sighed regretfully on the side: "What a pity... she's clearly good at child-bearing."

"You shut up too." Haruko handed a plate of garlic to Feng, "If you have nothing to do, go peel garlic."

Watching Anko angrily eating her ramen, and the bizarre scene of Feng peeling garlic while peeking at Anko, Haruko shook his head.

Although this Shura field didn't catch fire, the sparks... I'm afraid it will be hard to extinguish.

...

Deep underground in the Root base, Danzo sat alone in that familiar chair.

There were no lights on in the room, only a dim oil lamp flickering in the corner.

He liked this kind of darkness; it allowed people to think more clearly.

"Uchiha Madara... Hmph."

How many people in this Ninja World have actually seen the real Uchiha Madara?

He counts as one.

So he saw through at a glance that the "Uchiha Madara" was a fake.

But so what if it's fake?

He picked up the teacup on the table; the tea was already cold and very bitter. Just like this deal.

That fake wants to exterminate the Uchiha clan, and so does he. The goals are different, but the result is the same, and that is enough.

The Sharingan is indeed a good thing, but what's more important is—

Danzo put down the teacup, making a slight clinking sound.

Over the years, he hasn't gone easy on the Uchiha.

Those Uchiha Clan Members he secretly dealt with, those missions he deliberately sent them on to die, every single one is a blood debt.

Once the Uchiha and the Village reconcile, he will be the first one to be liquidated.

Only when the Uchiha completely disappear can he be at ease.

Even... there's a chance to go further.

As for the real purpose of that "Madara", Danzo couldn't be bothered to guess. Just a rat hiding its head and showing its tail, it would have to be cleaned up after the deed is done anyway.

"However, Haruko..."

A trace of murderous intent flashed in Danzo's single eye.

At first, he was just a kid running a noodle shop, and Itachi occasionally went to eat a bowl of noodles. A minor character like a pebble on the side of the road.

Who could have thought that after Shisui died, this kid gradually became a substitute for Shisui in Itachi's heart.

Now it's even worse; Itachi actually bypassed him and reported the intelligence about "Uchiha Madara" directly to Hiruzen.

Danzo's single eye narrowed.

He really doesn't like this feeling of losing control.

It's a pity it was discovered too late. Now that Haruko has been favored by Hiruzen, he cannot directly make a move.

He stood up and paced the room twice.

If direct action won't work, then change the method.

"Fu Yamanaka."

In the darkness, an orange-haired figure instantly appeared, kneeling on one knee.

"Lord Danzo."

"Go investigate that Haruko." Danzo sat back in the chair, his fingers tapping on the armrest again, "I want to know how much he knows about the Uchiha affairs, as well as his true strength and attitude."

"There is Anbu watching him. You know what to do."

"Subordinate understands."

Fu Yamanaka's figure instantly disappeared, as if he had never appeared.

The room was left with only Danzo again, and that flickering oil lamp.
