Chapter 62 - 0% Sanity Blade

The Lost Corridor trembled as Daniel raised both weapons — the golden baton in his right hand and the newly manifested Sanity Blade in his left.

Argos's thousands of eyes watched with perfect calculation, already pruning futures where Daniel could win.

But Daniel no longer cared about the futures Argos had seen.

He deliberately pushed his own sanity.

He stopped resisting the mental pressure Argos was exerting. He let the weight of every soul he had ever claimed, every loss he had endured, and every future he feared crash down on him at once.

His sanity plummeted.

100% → 73% → 41% → 12% → 3% → **0%**

The moment his sanity hit absolute zero, the Sanity Blade changed.

It no longer glowed with translucent silver light.

It became a void-black edge of pure nothingness — a blade forged from the complete absence of sanity, humming with unstable, apocalyptic power.

Daniel's eyes were empty, yet burning with something beyond madness.

He swung the 0% Sanity Blade in a single, clean horizontal cut.

There was no sound.

No flash of light.

Only a thin, invisible line that sliced through reality itself.

The blade did not cut Argos's body.

It cut the **certainty** of Argos's existence.

Every future Argos had predicted — every timeline where it won, every calculated outcome — was severed in that single swing. The All-Watcher's perfect foresight shattered like glass.

Argos froze.

Thousands of eyes widened in genuine terror for the first time.

"What… is this…?"

The 0% Sanity Blade had bypassed every defense, every prediction, every layer of conceptual protection Argos possessed. It struck directly at the core of what made Argos the All-Watcher — its absolute knowledge of all possibilities.

The creature's body began to unravel.

Eyes popped and melted. Limbs twitched and dissolved into black mist. Its towering form collapsed inward as the very concept of "knowing every outcome" was erased from its being.

Argos let out a final, broken whisper:

"I… did not see… this…"

With one last violent shudder, the multi-eyed guardian disintegrated completely — its body, its power, and its infinite foresight all consumed by the void-black edge of the 0% Sanity Blade.

Silence returned to the Lost Corridor.

Daniel stood alone, breathing heavily, the black blade still humming in his hand.

His sanity remained at 0%.

The blade pulsed dangerously, whispering urges to cut more, to erase more, to destroy every certainty left in the Backrooms.

But Daniel slowly lowered both weapons.

He forced a single, ragged breath.

Then he whispered to himself, voice hoarse:

"…Enough."

The 0% Sanity Blade flickered, then slowly dissolved back into silver light as Daniel forcibly pulled his sanity back from the brink.

The Lost Corridor had been conquered.

Argos — the creature that knew every outcome — had been destroyed by the one future it could never predict.

Daniel Voss, the Conductor, had won.

But as he stood in the empty chamber, the golden baton still glowing faintly in his hand, he knew the real challenge was far from over.

Because somewhere deeper in the Lost Corridor, the final truth — and perhaps the echo of System User No. Infinity — was still waiting.
