Chapter 41 – grim reapers guidance
The colossal Flying Slash slammed into the five agents; the terrifying force instantly wiped out the weakest, Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas.
Only Mr. 1, Mr. 2, and Bora survived—and even they were in tatters.
"So that's the 100-million-belly 'Crimson Shura Person'… He really is trouble!"
Bora stared at her fallen comrades, voice heavy.
"So scary! This is the man who dares kill government officials? I simply adore him!"
Though frightened, Mr. 2 still swayed with his bewitching dance.
"No matter—he's just a swordsman."
Mr. 1 quelled his shock; Dante Voss's Flying Slash had been formidable, but he had his own trump card.
He was the user of the Dice-Dice Fruit—he could turn his body into blades, gaining both their edge and their hardness.
"Vivi, go stop the war! Leave this to me!"
Dante Voss called out and strode toward the three agents.
"Okay—be careful, Dante Voss!"
Vivi nodded; she trusted his strength.
The rest followed her without hesitation, charging toward Alubarna.
Dante Voss leapt off his Running Duck and walked unhurriedly toward the agents.
"He's coming—stay sharp, he's strong!"
Facing Dante Voss, Bora felt as if a thousand troops were bearing down; her Toge-Toge powers activated, spikes erupting across her body.
"Ahh, that man's here—time for me to fight!"
Mr. 2 danced while shouting, his gaze now deadly serious.
Mr. 1 said nothing, but blades already lined his arms—battle-ready.
Dante Voss's eyes were calm as he advanced.
With his current stats, these senior agents no longer registered as threats.
He spotted Mr. 2; though he'd spared him before, this time there would be no mercy.
He admired the man's loyalty, but that didn't mean endless reprieves.
Slaughter follows the heart—kill when you will!
That was Dante Voss's sword doctrine.
He was no longer the ordinary man of his past life, but a powerhouse swordsman.
Only his own heart could restrain him.
Clang—
As the gap closed, Dante Voss slowly drew the bloodthirsty sword.
Its keen red blade glinted and flickered in the air.
"Attack together!"
Mr. 1 ordered, charging Dante Voss head-on.
The other two kept pace, striking from the flanks.
Whoosh!
Mr. 1 flashed forward, leaping high; the blades along his arms slashed downward.
Bora and Mr. 2 flanked Dante Voss, launching simultaneous strikes.
Surrounded on three sides, Dante Voss didn't dodge; he read their trajectories and swept his sword in a single arc.
Shhk!
The crimson bloodthirsty sword moved too fast to see—only a red flash. Bora and Mr. 2 froze.
They stared in horror at their bleeding bodies, disbelief filling their eyes as they toppled in two pieces.

Mr. 1, mid-air, tensed in terror; cold sweat drenched him.
Though the slash hadn't targeted him, it chilled him with a premonition of death.
He tried to pull back, but his strike was already descending and Dante Voss's indifferent gaze locked onto him.
Shhk!
All he saw was a red blur—so fast it seemed an illusion.
Then his vision began to spin.
He saw a headless corpse crumple; his senses faded into darkness.
He died—killed by the swordsman he'd looked down upon, felled with a single stroke.
[Killed a Bounty Hunter: +400 slaughter points]
Slaying the three senior agents effortlessly gave Dante Voss no joy.
At his level, only those already called monsters qualified as opponents.
He glanced at the five corpses; white and blue lights flickered above them.
Every senior agent had loot.
Only Mr. 2 granted a blue reward; the rest were white.
Dante Voss tapped the orbs, absorbing all five rewards.

[Obtained Blue Item: Crate of Fruit x1]
Dante Voss opened his System Backpack to inspect the new blue item.
[Item Name: grim reapers guidance]
[Item Info: Spend 1,000 slaughter points to locate the person you picture in your mind.]
"Nice find."
Dante Voss's eyes lit up as he took it from his backpack.
It looked like a compass, its needle spinning restlessly.
After studying it, he put it away.
grim reapers guidance offered no direct combat boost, but its utility was undeniable.
With it he could lock onto any target and simply follow the pointer.
Perfect for hunting the pirates who'd massacred that village.
No need to rely on intelligence networks; the compass would lead him straight to them.
A hunter couldn't ask for a better tool—Dante Voss's lips curled in satisfaction.
But there was no rush; the biggest prize still awaited.
Dante Voss turned his gaze toward Alubarna.
Massive armies were already massed there—millions of troops facing off.
And the man he most wanted to kill had surely arrived.
"Crocodile… I hope your reward doesn't disappoint."
Eyes gleaming, Dante Voss set off toward Alubarna.
As a Shichibukai—and a major figure in the manga—Crocodile's bounty couldn't be low.
Blue rewards had already helped him plenty; Crocodile's would be at least red, maybe even gold.
A single gold-grade bloodthirsty sword had boosted him immensely—what would other top-tier rewards bring?
Dante Voss looked forward to finding out.
