I think they are going to enjoy themselves as I didn't get along with Keiko and Akiko, but they hang out with me because of Kenji. Akiko never liked me because Kenji always hangs out with me. She even asked me to not hang out with him one time.
I think she is an over-possessive type or she just doesn't like me. As for Keiko, she didn't show interest in me at all at first, but after some time she suddenly started talking to me. I don't know the reason why she started talking to me, but she would just talk a few words with me.
But I think in the past month she stopped talking with my brother. He even messaged me asking why she stopped messaging him and also asked if I told her to stop messaging him, and I replied, "Why would I say that to her?" and "Even if I said it, why would she listen to me?" and he replied, "Oh, never mind then, I think she was busy," and he never messaged me after that.
I think he directly messaged her. I think he has feelings for her, but it's hard to say that it's the same for Keiko as she always has a poker face on.
Anyway, I was feeling a little bit tired because of the dream. That fucking dream spoiled my whole evening, shit.
I decided to take some rest and fell on the bed again and fell asleep.
After some time, I woke up. This time I felt a lot more refreshed. I think the oversleep worked just fine.
I got out of my bed and went to the washroom to relieve myself and took a bath and put on a T-shirt and shorts and went downstairs.
I thought of heading outside to get something to eat. As I went down, there was noise coming from the washitsu, so I headed there and opened the door, and all three of them were playing Daifugo sitting under the kotatsu.
I asked when they returned, and Kenji answered, "I thought of going without you, but both of them insisted that the four of us should go together or else it wouldn't be fun, so we all stayed and were playing Daifugo until now."
"Oh, good, then carry on. I am heading out for a bit, okay?"
I said it and closed the door, and as I turned back there was a loud sound and the door got opened and all three of them came out, and Akiko said, "We all didn't go out as you would be left alone in here and it wouldn't be fun if it were only the three of us, and you are going out alone even without asking us if we would like to join you."
"Yes, Akiko is totally right. I thought you would ask us to join you, but you didn't. I am totally disappointed with you," Kenji said a little angrily.
Keiko stood silently as always.
Then I replied, "I am heading out to eat something as I was feeling hungry after waking up, and I like going out to eat instead of ordering, and I thought that you three went out, so I was heading out. But you were all in the washitsu playing Daifugo.
So, again I thought that you all had already eaten and were playing, and I didn't want to disturb your game, so I decided to head out by myself."
"But you didn't even ask us if we had eaten or not even out of courtesy," Kenji replied.
"Didn't you hear me saying the word 'I thought'?" I said.
"But that doesn't make your mistake correct, right? You should have just asked us," Akiko said with a grumpy face.
"Yes, I totally agree with her."
Kenji butted in.
I was already tired, and these two were saying nonsensical things, and I had no strength to argue with them, so I said, "I am sorry for thinking that you have eaten, and I am also very sorry for not asking you to join me."
They both were staring at me with blank faces, and suddenly Keiko said, "Okay, that's enough. Let's stop it here and go out to eat. I am feeling hungry."
She said it and left for the entrance, and both of them followed her without saying anything. I wonder what happened.
We all left the Minka, and Keiko said she booked a cab for us and it'll arrive in a few minutes.
She didn't say where we were going, and I sat on the bench near the pond waiting for the cab while watching the fish, and Keiko came near me and sat on the other side of the bench.
She wasn't watching her mobile or doing anything. She's just staring into the night sky. The silence felt awkward, so I said, "It seems you stopped texting my little brother. He asked me if I told you to stop texting him. I mean, why would I tell you to stop texting him? Ha ha."
And I continued, "I think he likes you, so if you don't like him, don't be so harsh on him and just say that you're sorry. It would be a big help to me."
I finished what I wanted to say, but she was looking at me with a confused face, so I asked her what's wrong.
Then she said with the same face as always while looking at me, with a little bit of anger in her voice, "What? I don't like him or anything like that. He was cute when I first saw him, so I got close to him."
"What?
You got close to him because he was cute?
Wait, does he know that?"
I interrupted her while she was talking.
"Yeah, that was one of the reasons, but the main reason was I thought that he was the FUJIWARA clan's Genius, and I wanted to, you know, fight and win against him."
She answered.
"That sounds like a typical Keiko reason, but didn't you know that it was me?" I asked.
"Well, my grandpa just said about you, but he didn't mention your age or name, and Kenji and Akiko didn't know it was you until recently."
She replied.
"Yeah, I know," I said while looking at both of them who were taking selfies, and I realized something in the middle and asked her, "You didn't mention your name with theirs, so you knew it way before them?"
"Yeah, I asked your brother on the tenth day you came here if he was the Genius, and he said that he wasn't and said it was you, but he didn't say why you stopped using the sword.
But I didn't want to give up just yet, so I asked Kenji to ask if you were training with the sword and told him not to use my name, and after asking you, he said you weren't training and you even said that you weren't that good."
"Yeah, I remember him asking me those questions, so you knew it was me all these years and you kept it a secret, so thanks for not coming and confronting me," I said.
"Let me finish and you can say your thanks then," she said and continued.
"I thought that you and your brother were lying to us to avoid any unnecessary troubles, so to keep an eye on both of you I got along with your brother.
That's the reason why I visited your house once every week with my brother without announcing in advance to catch you while training, but you didn't train and your brother was always training.
Along with that, you didn't enter any competitions during middle and high school, and I don't know when, but—"
As she was about to say something, Kenji shouted that the car had arrived, and she got up and said, "I will tell you this some other time, okay?
Oh, I almost forgot, your lil bro and our lil sis are dating, and he asked me to tell you this."
She said it and left.
My brother and their sister are dating?
What's wrong with me?
All the people who are older and younger are dating.
When she was about to say something interesting, Kenji called us.
Now I want to know what she was about to say, and now I can't sleep without knowing what she wanted to say.
While I was thinking, Kenji shouted again, "If you aren't coming, we'll be leaving without you, so hurry up."
I got up and got into the cab. The three sat in the back, and I sat in the front.
"So where do you want to go?"
Kenji asked me, bringing his head towards me from the back.
"I wanted to have some spicy ramen," I said.
"Okay, let's go to Ichirun Ramen."
He shouted, and the drive started.
