As I landed on top of the roof Sohu Immediately hit me on the stomach almost making me fall down. But I could finally get a good view of him, he still looked rotten in the moonlight, but now I could see he had gray hair with gray eyes, but he didn't look dead like any other zombie would, he looked like he could pass as a sick person without the rot, but he had completely normal clothes on you would see in this world, except the cloak he had on.
"Are you just attacking for the sake of it or do you actually have a reason?" I quickly punched him in the head, but he grabbed my arm as my punch landed and pushed us both down from the roof.
I quickly kicked him away before landing with him landing perfectly a little away. "I thought it would be obvious why I attacked, but I guess you're just stupid." As he finished his sentence he started to walk towards me. "Maybe you just don't have a reason and you are doing it because you felt like it." I replied with and began walking towards him.
I truly didn't know, was it because he wanted to feed on the city or did it have something to do with the missions, but there was only one way to figure it out.
"Oh right your mission must be something to do with this city, right?" It was a bluff, but I had to take a chance and see what his reaction was.
"It seems you are not as stupid as I thought you were Pasha, but it won't matter." After that he both clenched our first and it each others fists as hard as we could, but we were evenly matched, so we both winthdrew and began trading blows with each other.
We continued to trde blows until I hit him in the stomach sending him back, but he looked up at me and slowly started to walk to the side down the street, I quickly did the same staring at him the entire time. "Because you're a zombie does that mean you have infinite stamina?" I asked, but I knew he wasn't going to give a direct answer.
"I might have, I might not, but you seem to be completely fine too, are you just that durable or does it have something to do with your ability perhaps?" He looked at me with a smirk on his face.
"What makes you think that? Maybe Im just that stronger than you are." I said trying not to smile at my lie, but I notice his expression changed to an annoyed one for a moment, but he quickly smirked again and pulled out a dagger he hidden under his cloak and charged at me with it.
As he charged towards me, I shifted to a defensive stance to stop him, but he ended up stabbing me in my hand with it slicing right through my hand, it hurts, it really did hurt, but I can't worry about it if I want to defeat him. "You think that's enough?" I gave the best stern expression I could, I had to be strong, I had to show no weakness, I didn't want a repeat of the Fraction kingdom incident, so I headbutted him knocking he back and pulled out the knife in my hand and threw it to the ground.
"I will give you one option here, retreat or you will die." I continued with my stern expression as my hand healed quickly.
"You forgot something else haven't you?" He smirked at me again and looked at me like he had won already. "Have you forgetten already? My zombies have probably already overrun your subordinate by now."
But it didn't matter since I had finally gotten the whisper I wanted by a flying person. "They have heard the zombies by now and are on their way." I looked back at Makoto who was levitating, but the only thing I could think about was how Nyx was doing. "Makoto see how Nyx is doing, I need to finish this."
Sohu was looking at me with a confused expression while charging towards me, but he didn't stop and hit me, but I managed to grab his arm and knee him in the stomach, but then.
"Folke!" I heard Rani and Henry yelling my name, but I quickly replied with. "Henry lend me your sword and go help Nyx with the zombies." Henry quickly threw his sword to me which I caught and Rani and Henry quickly ran past towards the zombie horde Nyx was fighting.
I pointed the sword at Sohu and stared him down. "Give it up, you're not going to win this fight, but if you want to fight until it's dawn we can."
As Rani and Henry were running towards the zombie horde, they could see a figure with guards fighting the zombie horde, but both of them knew it was Nyx fighting the zombies and they immediately ran to help her fight off the zombies.
They fought surprisingly well alongside each other even with all the time that had passed, they even managed to push the zombies back.
Nyx she looked happy to see Rani and Henry again, but I had to turn my attention back to Sohu, he looked fuming at me, but he muttered to himself. "Is it even worth the effort at this point..."
He looked at me and charged once more at me I quickly stood in a defensive stance, but he ran right past me, but I just managed to cut his arm as he was running past me, I quickly turned around to run after him.
He managed to run into the zombie horde and I could just about hear him yelling. "Zombies retreat." And with his command all the zombies began retreating, we continued to attack them for a bit until all the zombies were out of the city. "If you attack any other city under Kalmar's control I will kill you the next time!" With him yelling back. "I won't just stop chasing me!"
We had won for now at least, but there were something more important at this moment, I turned to Rani and Henry and opened my mouth.
