Daniel's Mansion - Later at night
I couldn't believe my eyes as I stared at the records Isabella discovered before me.
Another recipient who had the same donor number as Adrian's file did.
The same donor number showed again and again in the donor section.
At first I glared at the numbers trying to find if maybe a number was overwritten by mistake or maybe three was written in place of four.
Then I thought maybe it was an administrative error.
A filling mistake, after all this was fifteen years back, maybe the nurse or doctor made a mistake.
Or maybe it was a duplicate entry of Adrian.
I kept trying to convince myself this must be a mistake…
It has to be anything but a new different entry.
But the more I tried to convince myself, the more my head kept telling…
This is not a duplicate.
"Daniel," Isabella said. "This is for real."
