I was busy with some sketches as I received an update from the Federal department regarding the two men they captured after they went back to their hideouts.
Both were still in custody and being questioned.
Though they have been questioned several times, they still haven't said a new word.
Truly trained robbers.
Vance was seated across from me as he was filling me in on the latest information he had.
Even though I was feeling controlled, I was alert.
"They've finally admitted what they came looking for,"
"What??" I said, anxiously.
"What did they say?"
Even though I had a slight hunch, I knew his answer could confirm my worst suspicion on what and whom.
I already knew they didn't come looking for money.
They didn't come to steal the vault on a whim.
They definitely came thinking the Rollings vault was the River vault.
My expression hardened as I realized the men had precise information on what was inside the vault.
