Alex's POV
Alex's Office
It had been a month since I found Jonathan was involved in a serious car accident.
It was so serious, he suffered partial amnesia.
Now he remembers things from nine years back.
And since then, my planning tactics have changed.
This was definitely an unexpected opening for me, one I should use to full benefit.
I had been planning since the day I saw the news, but the next call got me off guard.
"Boss," my man said.
"The River treaty and the council are in trouble,"
"What??"
"Boss, seems like that Jonathan has forgotten about the River inheritance and the treaty,"
"So now he's not focusing on the responsibilities related to them."
"Now that the treaty doesn't have a stable admin, the houses are brewing once again."
I already knew the treaty cannot be without an admin, the reason the River representative was so eager to make Jonathan take over the role.
The frustration I was under over the past few days, seemed to have faded away.
